mustardgreens
Come on guys, don't tell me your wall of shame is completely empty. There's still plenty of painting to do before the KS arrives. Get painting and posting!

briggart
EDIT: upon actually reading your post, rather than skimming it over, I find that I was hastily responding with an apology to hurt feelings that probably don't exist and that I actually agree with your everything. Sorry to accost you like that. Carry on. If I had 10 cents for every time I've skimmed a post and misinterpreted something, I'd have $19, 456.17. Not a problem : ) had I skimmed the post, I might have been left with the impression you can count by 10 that was after tax.

Dibbler
Bones goblins are cheap. If you already have the paints you need, what about buying some packs to experiment with paint, colors and mixes? You can experiment and end up with a rag-tag band of goblins! :)
hungerfan
LTPKs are the way to go. This is how I want to start off. I am waiting to see if the Lone Star near me can get it from Reaper and if not then I will just order it straight from them. The problem I have is the images on the Reaper site look like the old kits I heard about. Don't they now have all bottles in them and no sample paints? I have been confused on what I am seeing and reading so it has taken me a while to decide where I want to get it.

If you order straight from Reaper you will get the full bottles.
thatguywiththeface
Hellcow, I honestly thought I'd be getting my stuff by early may... Sure, that owed to a lack of understanding of the process, but it wasn't an unreasonable guess at the time. So, if you could perhaps clarify on your post or edit it so as not to seem unnecessarily critical of people who held similar beliefs to mine, that would be greeaat. EDIT: Of course, I think you should feel free to criticize people for being hateful to reaper because things didn't go perfectly according to plan, and I very much like that you're taking it upon yourself to do so. I tried to clarify a bit in my post - hope that I didn't cause any ruffled feathers. For the record early May was a pretty reasonable time line (about 2 months late) and Reaper did come out with their big update at that time too - too bad is was about the longer delay! :( Believe me when i say I would much rather be slathering paint on 250+ Bones minis right now rather than anxiously watching my in box and the Reaper main page. I know I should just accept I won't see anything for at least 2 more months but hope spring eternal I guess! idk, I didn't think it was late at all considering that they would start shipping late march and that I had some vampire add-ons, some non-vampire add-ons and a kaladrax in my order.... but, now it's June... and 3-4 more weeks tells me our stuff could be here within the month, but we should give reaper another two weeks after that estimate, because stuff happens, so more than likely we're looking at mid-July, or early August if things go more wrong than expected. EDIT: I'm aware that it's a run-on sentence... and I'm too lazy to go through and fix it. Edited June 3, 2013 by thatguywiththeface

I have been confused on what I am seeing and reading so it has taken me a while to decide where I want to get it. I ordered all of them from Miniature-GIANT.com and they told me that all stock from the past 6 months or longer (they said over a year actually, but I've heard 6 mos. too) will be the new full size bottles. I ordered from Miniature-GIANT.com because it saved me 27% off MSRP and they have a referral program that gets you 5% back in store credit. I like reaper a lot, but I'm going to go for the best deal every time (and they are still making their money).
TheAuldGrump
Yes, something bad has happened to your miniatures. For their safe return I demand a million. Billion. Trillion dollars! Sincerely, and best wishes, Dr. Evil
ChaoticBlues
Nothing has happened to your miniatures. I am not organizing a crew of cutthroats, and possible goblins for a fishing trip on the high seas between the American coast and China. So you have nothing to worry about.
SaintRigger
Here's my feeling about Reaper's ks, and why I have no complaints (WARNING: I am applying logic to something born of teh intarwebs): Reaper set out to fund 30 miniatures. They hoped to fund in September and ship in March, which is a seven-month turnaround. They needed 300 Vampire-level backers to do it. Reaper ended up funding nearly ten times that many minis for sixty times that many backers. In some ways, we're lucky we're seeing fulfillment before winter of 2017, seventy months after the ks. More realistically, the fact that we are likely to see fulfillment before the end of 2013 is a staggering feat of logistics and manufacturing. I am thankful we live in a world where it's possible. This.
