He's looking pretty spiffy in his new (ly painted) clothes!

To pull off swashbuckling You have to be a snappy dresser.

Thanks for the reply, Wolf...glad you like him.

I can't say it better than Jay. The new addition is an awesome addition to your mad world.

...no one can match Jay's enthusiastic replies...it hurts to even try.

Thanks for the kind reply, KruleBear. I am happy you like him.

Yeah, I don't even bother trying. I just do my own enthusiasm. ::D:

I do love the Baron. He seems like a delightful character, and likely to be utterly oblivious to the chaos and mayhem left in his wake when people try to cause trouble. I also see him as being extraordinarily cheery and pleasant when he encounters people who are smart enough to be pleasant with him. ::): I can just imagine word spreading, so when they get word he's coming, the local bandit groups would arrange for tea and cookies so they could treat him to a pleasant little spread and send him merrily on his way without any unnecessary drama (aka murderous rampage)... ::):

I think you have the Baron pretty much sized up. He does love doing things in a flashy sort of way. He is a bit like Sir Didymus from Labyrinth.

Thanks for your own enthusiastic reply, canuckotter. I am happy you love him...he is too.

SO this was going to be the base for the Goblin Brigand Chief aka The Mushroom King that Comsquare kindly send to me. It didn't work out, The King will get a new base & the photo stages have a new tree.

I used a variation of the foliage method that I did for The Spooky Woods photo stage; i.e., mesh & Super Leaf.

Your works would fit in seamlessly with Henson's Labyrinth! Love it...

Thanks, Crowley. Jim Henson & his work with Brian & Wendy Froud is an inspiration. I love when people see their influence in my work.

Really liking that "ordinary" tree.

Thanks, chaoshead. I am happy you like it. It seems the ordinary variety of trees is becoming an oddity with me.

That "tree" is far from "Ordinary"... its so subtle.

The trunk with it gaping maw filled in with mushrooms;

looks like they are hiding incisor teeth.  The luxurious covering of leaves

reminds me of an 18th century powdered wig.  Its only  lacking bows applied

in strategic place. The tree bark is a sheer delight, so much evenly applied texture.

I LOVE THIS, and it has a perfect spot for one of your newly

headed dynamic figures to fill in that temporary void.

Magnificent (as I always anticipate) work Malafactus !!!

Thanks for the ongoing enthusiastic support, Jay. You deserve a substantial part of the credit/blame for my stuff; re, your reactions are a prime source of motivation.

I'm not sure what, if anything, will go with this tree. It does look nice on the Spooky Woods photo stage though.
