Orange is one of my favorite colors also. The black & orange combination give things a nice Halloween feel. Thanks for the reply, robinh. I am glad you like them.
Crowley
I can't believe I haven't looked at this thread since SEPTEMBER?!@?@!@! Crazy, and crazy how much you manage to accomplish in that time. I'm seriously blown away!! On 10/8/2018 at 1:51 PM, malefactus said: SO I finally took some photos of the August/September Gang on a photo stage. To be honest, I took A LOT OF PHOTOS on my unfinished photo stage. These will eventually be seen in the Show Off section, but you, my Loyal Hurrah Folk get to see them first...actually second; i.e., the W.I.P. Crowd got the first peek:: There you go. Cut a few pictures out of the above post for length) Love the living base, and the pumpkin-ish mushrooms! And those purpleish guys at the bottom look like a grumpy greek chorus. Brilliant!! And they turned out great too. On 12/6/2018 at 3:36 PM, malefactus said: ...I'm trying to come up with an idea for basing the Carnivore myself. The curse of the blank page isn't limited to writers. Thanks for another morale boost, Jay. I am happy you like the next step to /in madness. I was toying with the idea for awhile before I ran into the photo. I have added leaves & teeth to The Beasty: SO it is ready for a base & painting...if I don't start another first. I really appreciate getting to see your in progress pictures. So inspiring. Also, wandering in any environment you've had a chance to taint would be terrifying... Thanks mucho for the kind reply AND all those "likes", Crowley! I am delighted you enjoy the stuff. Drawing inspiration from my work is THE ultimate compliment. The volume of pieces I can crank out is partially practice, but mostly due to plenty of free time with little else to occupy it. It keeps me fro going totally nuts...partially is acceptable. If you need any how to do info, feel free to ask. I am not taking any secrets to the grave. In the Cemetery of St. Lascivious, the Haunted Gravestones are a feature. I think I got the idea from the living Wanted Posters I made for The Blight or the other way around. They are a favorite thing to make...I have a lot of favorites things.
KruleBear
Lovin' the rat catchers. They are such charmy minis, painted in your style to scare the heck out of the innocents in your world. 3

I am happy you like the way my attempts at them are coming out. More photos soon!

canuckotter
What a feast for the soul! Your work never fails to delight and inspire, mal! And it's always immensely entertaining. Particular favourites from the last couple months: the Bad Attitude Moai is hysterical, the gnome and his bots are stunning, and the Feral Flora is terrifying and gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your wit and vision with us!

Thank you for sharing your wit and vision with us! Thank you for the very kind reply, canuckotter. Positive feedback is my main motivator. That makes you my Muse. I am delighted you enjoyed the new additions. I was surprised the Bad Attitude Moai didn't get any flak. Flipping the bird is Forum okay I guess. There looks to be some SteamPunk in the future.

Jasonator
Short comment on my part about what you have done and the sewer dwellers and hunters....OMG !!! Just look at the color !!! You could teach a masters class in color application, balance, choices, and theory. I truly am without words. I just know that these are Miniature Museum Quality, and Malefactus should have his own dedicated wing. Oh so inspirational. Jay 2

Jay ...thinking of the vivid/garish color combinations I come up with, they could call my course: Paint Like a Gypsy. Self deprecation aside, I am once again elated by your response, Jay. The day suddenly is brighter. Thanks for your enthusiastic, flowery support. I am delighted you continue to enjoy my stuff.
