Sewers, forgotten buried treasures, an old cemetary, burrowing creatures and their lairs.

Possibilities!!!

The stages provide an opportunity to do cross sections allowing view of interiors & areas that would be hidden on a full structure.

SO there should be lots of possibilities.

This past weekend, in addition to doing sixty or seventy small(er) mushrooms, I dismantled The Blight board; re, it was not going to get done as it stood & had limited photographic uses. SO I now have a bunch of buildings that will be rebased & repurposed. The two pretty much finished ones are getting new bases right away:

This is S. White's Consortium House:

The little shed is where the Leprechaun's Owl lives:

This is the long dead Wizard's House from the side:

It has some interior detailing:

AND occupants:

Things are developing.

I have seen them before, but I still love those buildings!

The crooked and whacky shapes, the faces, the awesome details like posters, periscopes and hinges.

Love it!

That seems to be the way of things with my creations; i.e., everything is twisted & not quite right...I identify with that.

I am glad you like it, Glitter.

I can't stop thinking that those buildings would make a great addition to any ghibli movie.

You did a great work on those buildings - and I want to say: I envy you a bit for making them both so anime-esque abstract BUT also realistically looking.

Can't stop looking at them. Especially the brown one looks so much like the bathhouse from Spirited Away.

...maybe a quartet of Banshees or a few kinky Elf Babes.

I second that. In the style of Queen or a Gothic Metal group. Maybe using Alice and some other fairytale figures.

AND in The Woods:

There you have him...right before he makes his escape back to The Blight.

That's the prototype of the imperial AT-PT walker, isn't it?

Reminds me of my former boss. She's an owl fan and she would go crazy for this one.

Thanks, KruleBear. I am happy you see the humor in the piece...I was a little afraid some of our Folk would be offended.

I survived Christmas once more. I hope you has a FUN Christmas.

AND the Bad Attitude Moai is done:

I will take some pic on one of the photo stages later.

This is one of the few episodes in the Life of James Cook he will never forget. I guess that was the reason he never felt quite drawn to the Easter Island

Thanks for the replies, Dom. I am delighted you enjoyed the various stuff.

I checked out references that I was unfamiliar with...I am unfamiliar wit a lot of things. I think it is interesting that my stuff should remind you of anime.

The only anime movie I have seen is Vampire Hunter D.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Through The Looking Glass is populated by a horde of characters that would fit nicely in an Acid Rock Band/World.

The Owl is my favorite part of the Leprechaun/Owl duo. He actually turned out to be a decent representation of a Snowy Owl.

... I would love it if the Moai all reacted that way to Cook's visit & subsequent European visitors...provided they understood the gesture.

"Those bleeding statues flipped me The Bird"...fume & fuss.
