The Last Hurrah Project..Photo Heavy

Recommended Posts

As threatened, I took some pic of the Mushroom Shaman stomping his way through a photo stage. In this case it is the yet-to-be-painted Twisted Tower/Spooky Woods Board

...if you go out in the Woods today, you're in for a big surprise.

I love the pics!

Always fun to see the shrooms in their natural habitat.

Thanks, Glitter. I am happy you like the effect.

He turned out great! Thanks again for the smiles. Ya know since you're in Texas, you need a BBQ joint in there somewhere.

Thanks for the reply, Corsair. I am happy you enjoyed him.

The BBQ joint idea is something I will have to try...it would work nicely with The Eternal Block Party. BBQ joints are one of my favorite parts of Texas, AND Cap'n John & I could use this as an excuse for a visit to Opie's or Laird or any of the others for research.

There isn't much to show for the passed few days work. I did the Flumph thing & a couple more Mushrooms.

The Flumph may get to be a Flumphroom:

The Mushrooms re destined to be Mushrooms:

What's next is anyone's guess.

[Richard Simmon's voice] He looks flumphulous!

...for the life of me I can't remember how Richard Simmons sounded, but flumphulous does seem like the kind of thing he would say.

Thanks for the insightful reply, Corsair.

Despite the distractions of the last few days, I managed to do some faces & such on the next batch of Goblins with an Ogre & an Elf to boot:

Percy & Scratch, above, are from the Bwana Bateye Hunting Party. I was using them for Ogre skin colors.

I am experimenting with some magnifying glasses. Thus far I like the results:

The Elf was started a couple years ago. I am doing him for a RPGer at Jersey Giant Pizza:

There you go.

Good progress!

The Ogres are a nice addition.

Elf? I suppose the Goblins need a snack for along the way.

...the Elf is destined for another Fellow. He will be swashbuckling in some RPG.

Percy is part of The Hunting Party. The Ogre in the works will be part of Peek's Pikes eventually.

I am glad you like the updated stuff, Glitter. Thanks for the reply.

Obviously that's time-travelling Link coming back from the future to save Zelda!

...now that you mention it, there is quite a resemblance. The Legend of Zelda  was a favorite with my sons when they were boys.

The Elf was initially going to be a retake of my Urban/Gutter Elf Rogue, Wexelwane the Weasel.
