Moderator Chaoswolf Posted January 15 Moderator Share Posted January 15 What a motley looking crew! Seeing them all together like that is pretty cool, you get to see the whole range of expressions on them, from silly to grumpy to perhaps a bit dangerous.

They are, indeed, a motley crew of fungal hooligans. Group portraits have a certain appeals to them for me. I am happy you enjoyed them also. You are another Guy whose address I have to get.
malefactus
While I have been waiting for the Muse of Colors to chime in I did up seven more Mushrooms: They are a personable gaggle of disreputable rogues. Until next time...whenever that is.

Until you mention it, I never thought of wings. It might look interesting...or not.
Glitterwolf
Or a shroom with lagre spider legs.... So many possibilities... Anyway, I always like to watch this. 1

I have done a few with spider like legs, although only two legs per Mushroom. My really old Mushrooms tended to have coiled stems. SO I have one that is uncoiling/springing on his unsuspecting prey. I am happy you enjoy the stuff. Coming up with new ides adds to the fun.
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted January 18 Moderator Share Posted January 18 Following along with you here is always fun, and it shows how the the hobby can be fun in different ways; don't feel like painting? Make some stuff instead. (I'm also very partial to this style of hobbying; I do the same thing.)

Whenever I am mulling over colors, doing a little sculpting gives my hands something to do while palettes are whirling through my head. It does, however, mean that I will soon have another thing to work out a color scheme for...there is always something appealing to work on.
Corsair
Al, have you ever thought of trying those Vallejo Color Shift paints? That could make some seriously psychedelic mushrooms! 1

That could make some seriously psychedelic mushrooms! I haven't tried any of Vallejo's paints yet. I tend to stick to my usual brands with some experimenting with Blick & Utrecht paints. I will look into them at your suggestion.
malefactus
I have slowly been making progress with the Mushrooms & their supporting cast. These Fellows are about ready for basing & the inevitable touch up: AND the works in progress: That's all until next time...whenever that is.
