I have a deep appreciation for pin-up art, particularly the ones done on the nose of the planes in WWII. The only thing that bothers me is that this is being done with 3D art and not by a sculptor. Ridolfi could knock this out of the park, his style is perfect for this. That said, I'm in!

I understand the sticker shock, but as I pointed out elsewhere:

The prices are definitely up there per figure. But it is 54mm resin, and a lot of resin at that. Similarly sized figures in metal run $40-$60 all day.

Is it for everyone? Not at all. Is it outrageously priced compared to the market in general? Not really.

I'm not liking this at all. This is the second or third kickstarter by this company and it seems the more they do the more expensive it gets and the less you receive.

You have them confused with someone else I think. As far as I know this is the their first kickstarter.

EDIT: Yes, I just confirmed with Tory, this is their first kickstarter ever. You definitely have them confused with some one else.

And remember that this includes, shipping, boxing, and any applicable taxes. I've bought a ton of 54mm figs and I think our pricing is right in there. Many of these models are going to have 6-10 parts and packaging will need to be spot on for them to get to our backers safely. But I also understand we alll have our likes, I've wanted this project to happen for years, had it not been us, I would have paid nearly anything to get my hands on these beauties.

I apologize for getting you confused with another mini company. I have only painted a few giants so i figure they are the same size. Looks like im going to eat crow and then after i'm done I'm going to support your KS

I love the concept art...but I'm not convinced it translates to 3D. I won't back this one, but I'll let a few other folks know about it.

I like the prices and pledge levels, too. Good value for what looks like a good quality product, just not in my aesthetic.

Interesting bulk pricing - no cheaper than the parts...

Blackhawk level: $145, contains one of each level of miniature: $40 + $47 + $55 = $142

The Hornet level: $210, contains four from any level: max. $55 * 4 = $210 and I expect anyone wanting four would want at least one from the cheaper levels
