The pricing does seem a little high considering it's Kickstarter, not retail. For comparison, when Kingdom Death - not exactly a cheap, butr a quality manufacturer - does 54mm Pinups, they sell for $40.

On the fence thus - they'll have to show more sculpts and preferably prototypes to convince me those prices are fair.

Potential good news - I asked the creators if the Blackhawk level could be any 3 figures, instead of 1 from each of the tiers. They agreed:

To follow on with what Scott said, it'd be awesome if Blackhawks could be pick 3, just like Hornet is pick 4.

As Picard would say make it so! If that's the way you want to go we can swing that.

Well they killed it.

Supposed to re-launch in 2 months or so with more production models (some painted), lower prices, and more scale options.

That makes sense, it was obvious they weren't going to reach their goal and at least they've learned from their mistakes and can hopefully so better next time.

I think it's a good call. The original multi-fig pledge levels weren't all that well conceived (there was no real point in taking them unless you liked the Zombie Hunter, because no other Raptor fig was yet unlocked) and in combination with the lack of momentum after the first few days, that really killed the campaign.

I think going multi-scale is a great decision, too. 32mm will surely be more attractive to gamers, while I suspect for enticing collectors, they'd be better off with something even larger than 54mm. Looking at companies with succesful pinup lines like Andrea Miniatures or Pegaso Models, it does seem that 80mm is the sweet spot there.
