Apparel

[x] Poker Chips (yes, please)

[x] Playing Cards (yes, please)

[x] Paint Bottle Stabbing Needle (yes, please; and could the item on the end of the pin be a Marshall's Star with a Reaper Skull carved in the middle of the star?)

Unless: A Marshall's Star with a Reaper Skull should be reserved for the badges of Reaper peeps/Event staff.

The Casketworks were passed out to the people that arrived at the Con. They were not physically in the Swag bag, we added them at the registration desk. So if folks got their swag mailed to them, it may not have been included in the shipment.

I think additional commemorative pokey tools would be pretty cool! It is my understanding that they're kind of a pain to make, so that might influence the possibility. (I think they have to place each of the pins by hand in the moulds, and then they're probably a little more annoying to remove from the mould after everything is cast.)

As a user of pokey tools, I'm inclined to think that pointy parts like on a star on the handle part might make them a little harder, more annoying to use. Unless you have something like a circular background with a bas relief of the marshall's star.

I was wondering if the pokey tools had a production issue like that. I'm assuming they cast the pewter bit around a conventional T-pin or something.

It's a pity if they can't make them a regular feature. I love mine, but it is small, fiddly and easy to lose. ::(:

My pokey tools from Rcon 2013 (we ended up with three between the two of us, somehow) don't get lost too easily; we have magnets on our desk lamps at the paint table that hold the pokey tools, as well as the coil of guitar string I use for pinning, the spare clamps for holding minis, and a pair of tweezers. At my work, I have a pokey tool that just sticks like a pushpin into the wall of my cube, ready at any time to unclog paint on my lunchbreak.

Yes, I was thinking more or less a round shape overall, with smoothed edges. But, the point has been reached where it is easier to explain with a picture:

ReaperStar.png

The emblem in the middle, would be a properly drawn, bas relief, rendition of this guy, perhaps wearing a Stetson. So, picture little versions of that with pins projecting from the bottom --or-- [and?] full-size metal versions for the Reaper Peeps.

Edited to fix typo.

Oh, how about just having Reaper-branded Kit-designed Awesome-filled badges? Not specific paint poker ones, but the normal pin on the back of the badge could be thin enough to suffice. Would definitely fit the theme.

As far as car decals - how about a Sophie trucker woman silhouette. Not that my fiancee would ever allow me to put one on my truck.

While we're throwing out ideas, here's some things that could be cool:

Decals/Stickers/Bumper-stickers

A patch (like a boy-scout sized one, or a bigger one like they did for the Apollo missions)

Or a collectable coin. They have some ridiculously cool-looking ones here: http://www.the-coin-factory.com/, but I'll bet Reaper Could do a couple nice ones on their own.

The theme is still thought to be something wild-west-y, right? I'd take a deck of Reaper Playing cards.

I have to imagine at least a few of those would be cost-prohibitive, but I still think they could be really neat.

Pure awesome Noel!

A few RCons ago, there was a Sophie dressed as cowgirl metal keychain fob that was part of the swagbag.

I actually quite like that idea.

Suggestion I have:

mustaches

just sayin......

I dunno... I already have a goatee that I'm rather fond of.

I have one of these on my keychain. Poor Sophie's face has pretty much worn off! That was one of the years my hubby went, so I have a spare souvenir one, but I wouldn't mind having a new one for actual use.
