I can just image it now: blueberry and toad eyes cake! Mmmm... blue toad and eyeberries...

Pingo
Hah. Confession. When my siblings and I were little we used to clamor for the eyes of the roasted fish we ate. They were bitter, but strangely compelling.

Last Knight
The new tablet comes with $25 in Google Play credit; I've been busily downloading apps. Found out that Square's released various older Final Fantasys (pre-7) as Android apps, if I didn't already have 1-4 (plus Chronotrigger) on my DS and PSP (which I did bring with me) I'd be all over those... still strongly tempted to download 6, although $20 is a bit much for a nearly twenty year old game. But... an awesome nearly 20 year old game! Also discovered that inXile has released The Bard's Tale (the updated one, for Xbox) as an Android app... with The Bard's Tale 1-3 (the classic games)... for $1.99! Hells yes! The downside being, they're a hefty download... I'm actually kinda glad my Mifi died and I had to upgrade it, this would take all night on a 3G connection (and is taking long enough on 4G... not that signal here on the base is particularly good...) Edit: New discovery, the BBcode for italics (i)(/i) don't seem to work anymore. Huh. Edited January 15, 2014 by Last Knight

In th quote they are in square brackets as per usual.
Last Knight
Huh. Here on my phone in mobile mode, they do as well. They did not on my tablet in full mode. And yeah, i used square brackets for the coffee. Parentheses to refer to them because otherwise, it wouldn't appear.
Thes Hunter
I posted about playing Skyrim, and then have had the great white out of 2014 until I just now checked. I checked earlier this evening and I still wasn't able to get on. Hope this lasts... I think it will, most of the links are back now.
Last Knight
Even in mobile mode on my tablet, the italics still don't appear. Keep in mind, both phone and tablet are Android, running Chrome. Weird.
Pingo
Both my phone and tablet are idevices running Safari. At the moment the forums are not acting wonky, except that there are a few characters not showing up, as I mentioned before. I also note a nice new feature on the main forum allowing one to see all of today's birthdays. On my ipad while the page is loading the "like" boxes look different (same shape but no shading and no "check" mark) and are not checkable (they take on their normal appearance and are checkable once the page is fully loaded).
