Pingo
....so assuming Beekepers gets unlocked for me, where does it show up? is it a seperate board? It will magically appear as the last board in general discussion. What the goblin said. It will just be there. You will not need a password or anything, once the mods have given you magical access.

Pingo
I avoided that board for ages. At first it was because through a misunderstanding I thought it was the archive of deleted threads. Then I just ... didn't want to know, you know? There are a lot of people on this board with a lot of different attitudes and I preferred to interact as someone who enjoys the same hobby without getting into politics or hot button issues. Kind of like I did in the gaming club in college, where Libertarians and Quakers and Anarchists and Buddhists and Evangelists and Communists all agreed that second edition D&D was pretty lame but Runequest showed promise. Then something got moved to Beekeepers that I really wanted to follow. Ah, well.
CaptainPete
I don't want access to Beekeepers. While I enjoy discussing things like politics and whatnot, I'd rather not do it here. I'm just here to lurk the painting threads and post random stuff elsewhere.
Doug Sundseth
I've made the same decision. I don't come to Reaper for fraught discussion. Other than about what brushes to use, of course.
Slendertroll
Yeah, see, I always thought I liked arguing on the internet. Then I realized a bit ago that I don't actually enjoy it; I just find it addictive. So I had Kit remove my Beekeepers access, and I haven't looked back since.
CaptainPete
To keep things random, I seem to have gotten past the rut I was stuck in with my 'big' writing project. I also started dabbling with a game project based around fighting video games and old kung fu movies. Because my brain doesn't like to stay on topic.
buglips*the*goblin
The last party I went to, I brought a dozen Kronenbourg, a 6 pack of Peroni, and 144 diapers. And nobody thought it was weird. True story.
Nocturne
Catching up on the current series of Sherlock, one more episode to go. As much as I like Steven Moffat's and Mark Gatiss' work on Doctor Who, I wish it had the same consistant quality of Sherlock.

buglips*the*goblin
Infant, I guess? I dunno, apparently babies are categorized like British artillery now, so these are good up to 28 pound little howitzers. Although at first, since I have no experience with hooman pups, I thought that might refer to max capacity. I was initially very impressed. Talae
I have a 7 month old that weighs close to that. He looks kind of like a cross between the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man and a Butterball Turkey. Without getting into too much detail, I will say that there are times now that he is eating more solids that it seems more likely to refer to capacity.
klawzie
Catching up on the current series of Sherlock, one more episode to go. As much as I like Steven Moffat's and Mark Gatiss' work on Doctor Who, I wish it had the same consistant quality of Sherlock. From what I understand about Sherlock (and I may have misunderstood when reading) there are only three writers for Sherlock and they each take an episode a season. (Mind, they probably collaborate to edit for consistency after the lead writer on an episode is happy with it.) Pretty sure that there's more people involved with Dr. Who (though this is just based entirely on assumption and I've never looked at the credits). I'm reading a book now on scriptwriting, because I thought I'd learn something about writing in general (and specifically about episodic/serial storytelling). Haven't especially learned anything yet that I didn't know on an intuitive level about writing, but sure as heck am learning a ton about the way scriptwriters work (as I ought, as it's a coursebook for many scriptwriting classes, apparently). But I'd have to think that based on what I'm learning, Dr. Who is likely to have at least a higher number of outside writers submitting scripts for the show and a larger team. As an aside - I really liked series 3 of Sherlock. Two was flashier, of course, but three seemed to be interesting more on an emotional level. I feel like they were very clever and careful with the introduction of the new series character and think that it was handled in a way that most fans would accept. I'm interested in what happens with her in series four.

I really enjoyed this season, I think it might have been my favorite, but since it has been so long I saw the first two seasons it might be an unfair comparison. Boo for two years between three episode seasons. I get it, the stars are both blowing up big, they need time for other projects, but the gap between seasons is no fun. The second episode was my favorite episode by far, the speech and reactions were perfect.
