Well, I just got back awhile ago from the casino.

I got to see Classic Albums Live doing Led Zeppelin II...

For those of you who've never heard of this Canadian band, they're kind of a tribute band - to everyone, lol.

Every time they tour, they pick a different classic album by a different band, and play the whole thing from start to finish, note for note...

I've seen them do Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and now Led Zeppelin II... And each time they sounded note-for-note just like the album. These guys are awesome...

EDIT : Eeek, just realized I'm probably in danger of hitting the 1000-post mark before Sunday, lol.

There is no tired like "been at the hospital all day." There is just no feeling quite the same.

Airports come close, but lack that worry and fear that make hospitals so repellent.

Really hate hospitals, btw. You have my utterest sympathies.

It actually wasn't to bad. The first year or so after my Dad's accident was rough. Times like this are not anywhere near the same level.

Airports are indeed the only thing that I have ever experienced that come even close to the energy-sucking void feeling that occurs upon entering a hospital. I even get that sense when visiting someone with a new baby...

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt*. I don't like that T-shirt.

You have my sympathy.

* While that was mostly a turn of speech, the NICU has yearly picnics for former inmates**. And I really do have a T-shirt from one of them.

** I think the term they actually use is "graduates". I think "inmates" captures the situation better.
