Sirithiliel
XD Well that's a good one too... I was thinking something along the lines of 'Unorthodox Painter' =P because i've been called that several times and I seem to be painting my minis in weird and unnatural ways
dsmiles
It ought to be something relating to Pitamat or the Tiamacrab...

Mad Jack
Well, I just got back awhile ago from the casino. I got to see Classic Albums Live doing Led Zeppelin II... For those of you who've never heard of this Canadian band, they're kind of a tribute band - to everyone, lol. Every time they tour, they pick a different classic album by a different band, and play the whole thing from start to finish, note for note... I've seen them do Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and now Led Zeppelin II... And each time they sounded note-for-note just like the album. These guys are awesome... EDIT : Eeek, just realized I'm probably in danger of hitting the 1000-post mark before Sunday, lol. Edited April 26, 2014 by Mad Jack
ladystorm
(And please keep any further banter about this above board, we don't want to burden the mods with things to mod during Reaper Con.)Too late. But yes, keep it family friendly.

You have my utterest sympathies.
Talae
It actually wasn't to bad. The first year or so after my Dad's accident was rough. Times like this are not anywhere near the same level. Airports are indeed the only thing that I have ever experienced that come even close to the energy-sucking void feeling that occurs upon entering a hospital. I even get that sense when visiting someone with a new baby...
redambrosia
/comfort Talae. I made orange sauce. From scratch. It's really yummy. It's going to be for my hubby's birthday dinner next weekend. He likes orange chicken

Doug Sundseth
There is no tired like "been at the hospital all day." There is just no feeling quite the same. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt*. I don't like that T-shirt. You have my sympathy. * While that was mostly a turn of speech, the NICU has yearly picnics for former inmates**. And I really do have a T-shirt from one of them. ** I think the term they actually use is "graduates". I think "inmates" captures the situation better.
