Sirithiliel
I love how fast I get Reaper orders ^.^ that's the plus side to being a neighbor of Texas =P Edited May 1, 2014 by Sirithiliel
buglips*the*goblin
Some people sure got their swagbags mailed to them quickly. Averages 2 weeks for me, give or take the conditions of dogsled, sea transport, or aeroship mail. Unless I order something from China or Japan, and then that shows up so fast I'm surprised it's not still glowing from the re-entry phase of its ballistic path. But all I can say is thank everything Reaper offers USPS 1st Class. It's almost the only place I still order from, because it's the only place with shipping I can afford. I tried to order two $40 Robotech DVD collections from Robotech.com, and when it calculated shipping it said it was $133.00. I'm not overnighting it to Antarctica! ETA: The FAQ says they only ship international via DHL. That's still quite a lot for DHL, though, but is some explanation. Even if it was cheaper, DHL is a dealbreaker for me. "Here's your package, you have to pay for it at the door!" "Cash? I can do that. Got change?" "Driver does not carry change!" "So you're telling me that I have to pay exact change, or no package, without knowing in advance what the charge will be?" "Yes!" "On top of the already outrageous shipping fee?" "Yes!" "How... how are you people still in business?" Edited May 1, 2014 by buglips*the*goblin
ub3r_n3rd
Got my swag bag in the mail today. Haven't looked at all the stuff yet as RL has priority. Looking forward to digging in tho!
NomadZeke
Bug: that's when a relay from another person can help..slows it down but should be much cheaper I would imagine. I've only ever bought something from Japan twice though
MissMelons
I typically have my packages sent to my mother's but it seems her mail mans on strike from delivering packages.....either he dies or I go to the post office and complain.........I could save gas.....I guess filing a complaint is easier. Laziest mail man ever by the way. I think when ks 2 is delivered I'll camp out on the patio and wait...everyday, then take pictures of the look on his face when he is faced with the mass of awesome that is ks 2. You don't mess with my packages
NomadZeke
MM: I personally will have a VERY difficult time controlling myself and not plowing over the poor mail guy then tear back into the house with it like a kid that got locked in a candy shop overnight....similar situation with Dwarven Forge KS.

I've had nothing but strange experiences with the mail men. One hid my reaper package under the stairs and I didn't find it until two days later. This one prefers to never ever have to get out of his truck. For anything. @[email protected]
buglips*the*goblin
The delivery for my last Bones KS was courier, this time it will be USPS. The delivery guy was the usual, and thanked me for "ordering something light this time". I tend to buy in large quantities to save on shipping, and I'm quite fond of printed material. You'd be amazed how much 100 back issues of Heavy Metal can weigh.

Not much to catch up on... Until now and the few times I checked I have been working on my final for Photoshop which has been massively annoying to me. Trying to get it to look decent so I can get a good grade on it. That and studying for my final test in Communication Arts, so glad I only have one class for the next portion.
