Flamehawke
Why? I collect swords and knives for real. Apparently that appeals to people, especially guys. I am down to only 3 swords, a dagger, and a knife though. The rest were stolen and I have to rebuild my collection, but I shall have it rebuilt eventually. Besides that is just my collection. That's a bummer... I would be crushed if someone stole my collection. Not as much as they would be, of course. Any pictures of the remainders? Not until I move. I packed all but one sword. I intend to keep one out as long as I can get away with it. I move to Omaha on June 7th and have been getting ahead on packing so i am not rushing this month to pack everything in time for the move. Once I settle in I can take pictures of the collection. I gave a bit of a pass as I suspected, but could not prove it was my sister I've got a few swords and other weapons as well, you'll get no judgement from me. My wife on the other hand refuses to let me keep them anywhere but in a closet. The vast majority of mine are closeted as well, space and 7-year old require it. Except for the one too big for the closet... C'est la vie. Since generally my mother is the only other person in the house I don't fret too much. She collects as well, but her collection is much smaller than mine and usually impulse buy. I will need to put them up for a bit once I move as my nieces and nephew are my responsibility for the summer. My sister is going to pay me a bit to watch them so she can work on her promotion. Since I am out of work it gives me some pocket money which I am all for! (Should state she has a cane for protection and she can whip people with it fairly well, Plus it tends to randomly attack people without warning...) FaekiasDracon
>snip. Right now I am trying to keep my roommate under control. She was approved for adopting a cat from the shelter and gets to pick it up in the morning. She is super excited to have her own pet. wow, you mean she actually had to go out looking for a cat? See my thread http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/54188-so-ive-been-adopted-by-a-cat/ to get the joke if you haven't already.

Generally my cats came through random people not wanting their kitten or their female having kittens. Sierra was one such case. Houdini was I could not leave the store without her, and I hate purchasing cats from them. Merlin was a feral kitten who had his mother and sister turned over to Animal Care and Control by our landlord at the time. I recently discovered they put all ferals including kittens down due to being untamable. Ticks me off, but I have Merlin who is a big kitty and a cuddler. Flamehawke
...wait... is this the same sister you suspect of stealing your swords? Yeah. She has reformed herself. No longer doing drugs or getting drunk every night. She also has apologized and attempted to pay me back for things she wrecked. So I'll give her a chance as it has been over 10 years since that incident. A cane is far better with a sword in it She can't afford one of those. Instead she has a dogwood cane with a wizard's face carved into it. It looks pretty awesome actually and that is intuitional due to she has to walk with one now. But hey its better than the fact they said she would never walk again. She told them she would and that was final. She has had that cane since she went to a Ren fair and had a staff cut down to the height she feels comfy with. The guy even wittled a spot for her cane tip to be put on.
Last Knight
That does sound like an awesome cane. Sword canes are only useful if you know how to use them, anyway (not saying she doesn't, just that it's harder than people think). I have one of these canes; full length blade, astouningly inexpensive.

With the exception of the one she keeps by the bed while I am gone. It's why we rarely fight. Too many sharp pointy objects in the house. It ensures civility.

I just felt guilty about helping in the derail
