pocketcthulhu
Sons of Anarchy is one of those shows where I wouldn't want to know a single character in real life but I practically salivate waiting for a new episode to drop. we have a couple 1%'er clubs around here, they stay pretty quiet for the most part (infact I don't think I have EVER heard of them pulling any SOA style crap), I give them the biker wave when I pass them on the opposite side of the road (and they normally throw back) and our motorcycle leo's for that matter (who just look like did that guy just wave at me wth) (1% being the criminal biker type gangs with the 99% being your typical tattooed nerd driving his cruiser or crotch rocket to go play pathfinder) I''ve talked to some of the 1%'ers at biker rally's but just chit chat, I still wouldn't go hang out with them. CashWiley
I used to run with some 1%ers in places where they are more like the 1% of 1%ers. Those guys really don't give an f. I'm happy to be boring and nerdy, thanks.
Thes Hunter
At age 60, you can start to really tell the difference between boring and nerdy, and exciting and reckless.
CashWiley
I've found it to be so at 40. Since many of the people I ran with are dead and the others look like hell, except the few that matured out of the lifestyle.

Just makes you ill. :( She "better" today. Back to screaming and having tantrums. The joys of 3 yr olds!

At least I had a few years between each of my three girls. Although I have a teenager now so my pain has been turned up to eleven.

Moderator OneBoot Posted October 13, 2013 Moderator Share Posted October 13, 2013 And then they actually grow up and turn into decent human beings, who then look back at their teenage years and go "...What the heck?!" At least, that was my experience. Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
ShadowRaven
should I ever be blessed with children, when they hit the teen years, I will inform them that while they may be too old for a smacked bottom, they aren't too old for an over the shoulder body slam on a more serious note. When working with markers, especially if you are the sort to stick things in your mouth when your hands are full. Always make sure the cap is on. No, I don't have a purple streak on my tongue...really....

Let me know if you have any good contacts.... around here the witches only want to get in the sack and that doesn't help with the kid into gold equation.
