Fairytales meet The Hunger Games/Battle Royale

This one seems fun - a board game about fairy-tale characters in a duel to the death with each other. If they make their final stretch goal, then they include minis of all the characters in the game - So that could be an axe-wielding Alice in Wonderland, or a sword-carrying Cinderella.

For people outside the US, their 45,000 stretch goal will reduce international shipping to 10 bucks.

Interesting concept, although I am not a huge fan of the art style of the White Rabbit card. Makes me second guess backing this.

There was people who mentioned that, so he's doing two editions of it. One edition is tamer, and that's the one that everyone gets. The second is what he calls the "cheesecake" edition, which is an add on where the art like the White Rabbit card goes.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will give this another look, then.

You could ask them. My daughter would have thought it hilarious from about age 7 or 8 for sure, and possibly earlier. She always "got" that kind of twisted humour.

That's the plan. My eldest should be fine with it, I'm just not too sure about my youngest two girls. I would have to go for the non-cheese ckae version; though I believe there was an option to get both sets I think.

Of course the girls are ultra-competative, so this may just be another source of yelling, sulking and overall drama (kinda of like Munchkin games in my house).

I could see that with Munchkin. The game is designed to screw each other over.

Bleh. Anime/Manga hate it as cliche as the art style it frowns upon.

The card as is, is nice. There's nothing wrong with variant art styles.

This looks like a really cool idea. Glad they separated the cheesecake stuff for people who don't want that (including me). Although it says there's a link that says which characters are in the game (and up for miniatures), but I didn't see a link...

Hey Ringskipper,

Here you go: http://fairytalegames.wordpress.com/kickstarter-miniature-list/

I asked them update the page as well - happened due to a re-write of their stretch goals.
