Good Lord. Looks like I can add this to my impressive list of Kickstarter train wrecks. I read through his suggested solutions and think they're all hopeless, the one opportunity he may have is to sell the product line, IP etc

He's not open it ideas on how to deal with the scenario as he's been turned down for loans.

 

Wowwwww this is my first KS to go under for me. At least some people received 'something' from this KS. I hope he's able to pick himself back up after this.

I went back and read through the first dozen or so pages of this thread.

It reminded me just how tempting and frustrating this whole kickstarter was from the very beginning.

I ended up pulling out before the kickstarter ended, from the comments back then I had thought several others here had too.

I was not aware that your innate powers of kickstarter destruction extended to your backing after the funding period had ended.

I managed to resist the temptation of jumping back in all the way until last year when they had those abandoned pledges available. As they had pictures of the Sacred 40 up and a number of forumites had received their packages, I felt it was safe to jump in at that point. You live and learn!

I know I'd spend the shipping cost to get the remainder of my items, but I'm in the US so that cost is on the low end. I can see him getting approximately half the shipping costs he needs through asking people to pay their actual shipping (the other half will probably demand refunds he can't give).

I won the $100 free credit, which alex kind of forgot about and too me emailing greenbriaer to get sorted during the pledge manager. Even though I ended up putting my own money into this what I've gotten, 3 full boxes from the first set, equal out to what I paid. Everything else I'm waiting on is coming from that free credit.

There has been some activity the last few days. First I got an email saying that addresses would be locked down in 48 hrs. Then today a couple updates saying he is close to having enough money for shipping the base games currently at the shipping warehouses. He is also looking to have a pick up option for people who live within reasonable distance of the shipping hubs as that would lower the total shipping invoice he owes currently.
