From update 5:

For the original 40 miniatures:

"With that, we will continue to produce these minis in ETERNAL GRAY and offer them to backers for this campaign as BOXED SETS (6 boxes in all) at the price of $35 per Box or $50 per every 2 you pledge for.

It looks like there are 6 figures in a boxed set which makes each figure about $5.80. This is high for injection plastic figures. However, I'd be willing to pay for unique figures like these if I had a chance to see actual production pieces from the first KickStarter beforehand. At this price, there are just too many grey areas to jump in.

The characters are in public domain, much like Cthulhu. (Of course, the miniatures themselves and their "twisted" versions might not be). So I wouldn't be surprised if another fairytale-based miniature KS comes along sometime. FG's mentioned that they want to use these mini's in a boardgame, so maybe by the time we've finished painting our Reaper Bones we'll have a few more chances at some fairytale minis!

Also, add a request to the Bones we'd like to see thread for some fairytale mini's. I know they have a Cinderella one!

So I've given up in the project creator knowing anything about the actual minis production.

Is anyone here familiar with Greenbrier Games and their products? They're the people who will be doing the actual production. I've tried looking for examples of physical sculpts from their Aftermath game, since that's what we've been told the miniatures will be like, but surprise surprise, all I can find is artwork and renders.

Update on the miniature quality: " Though not a very hard plastic, PVC 95 retains a high amount of detail from the original sculpt, and is also very durable and will hold up well under use. It is also the hardest plastic that can be used that allows for the minis to be preassembled during manufacturing."
