Ral Partha Hill Giant, second version

So as I continue painting old miniatures, here's the next one up, an old Ral Partha Hill Giant, which I think is the updated/remodeled one of the first one I'd done before

I usually just put up one photo of the front, but this one is kind of at an odd striding angle and has a few little details which seemed to have merited more than one angle. My favorite part of this figure ended up actually being his pet or snack in his European shoulder bag.

dude looks like some point in the past he caught a boulder with his face. Such a neat sculpt, and you've more than done him justice.

Interesting, It's an awkward sculpt, and not at all the current fashion in how giants look, but the sculptor has really caught the feel of a giant creature's movement.

 

Your paintjob has given it a nice Arthur Rackham feel.

looks like another fun old sculpt :) your paintjob looks good. a bit pale maybe, if you know what I mean. A stronger colour here and there would maybe make it pop a bot more
