System Check Email

Considering how long mass emails can take to go out, I'm not surprised there's still people who haven't gotten theirs yet

I wonder if they're sending out these System Test/Reminder emails in the same order that they're going to be sending out the packages? If so, the trend seems to be that they're starting with the most complicated orders first, then proceeding to simpler orders as the process goes on - which is great, if they can fit everything on-site to ship out (excepting, of course, the orders that have already been packed up/shipped out). That would also mean that they'd pick up speed as the process goes on and they'd have all of the easy(ier) orders at the end when their tired and derp-prone, meaning that if there is a mistake made, it will likely be a rather minor one.

And, if that's the case, we can get a rough idea of where we'll land by comparing our email sent timestamp 06/15/13 5:03 PM for me.

I have since asked for clarification since the whole system check thing came to light. I have yet to get a response. So unless I hear otherwise, please consider that a false alarm.

I got my e-mail as well (was it yesterday?), and I'm pretty sure I'm in the last group to get my Bones. From the looks of it, they seem to be sending them out in a different way than by complexity. It could be by alphabetical order or by when we locked in our orders months ago.

Just because this is starting to snowball a little and it's getting harder to confirm everything,

 

Please, no rampant speculation. Bryan's asked in the past that we avoid it so he doesn't have to go into damage control. Once the shipping notifications start coming out we'll get a handle on how they're handling it.

 

While on that subject - to date, everyone I've checked with has received the System Check email, not a Shipping Notification. To make it easier for us to see when shipping starts, if you're reporting a Shipping Notification include the text of the email modified to protect your privacy and post it in the Tracking thread please.

I have not yet received an email. I am not worried, though.

 

I am willing to bet that it is not alphabetical by backer (my first name starts with A and last starts with K). My email is also an A. I have a decent chunk of add-ons, but definitely not everything and not the two big dragons.

 

My guess is either pledge manager completion date or random.
