Fear not. Quite a number of people have identified their orders as having totals in the twenties or more. You're hardly the far end of the bell curve.

I was quite surprised at how many of the backers are relatively complex. Consider that they shipped out pretty much all of the "simple" vampire-only U.S. pledges back in April, and that only added up to, what? 1/6 of the total backer pool? Heck, they were processing 5-item orders on Thursday, and are still way short of the half-way point.

There were a lot of tasty treats in the add-ons, and most people could only secure a limited number. As the Kickstarter was a surprise to me, and as they only run for like a month, and as this one was so successful so there were lots of add-ons unlocked - arranging to get one of everything tested all of my wheel n' deal skills. So most people probably just picked accroding to taste and I'd bet the majority fall into the 5-10 items range.

September was a hungry month. It tested the bonds of love and friendship between a hungry goblin and his pet cat (whose name is actually Emergency Rations). Love won out, but only because it turns out cats are even faster once you smear them with barbeque sauce.

And those reasons are secret because Reaper doesn't want their competitors to know. If they knew then they could use this information to sell more minis than Reaper and eventually take over the world!

I'm glad you guys are sending all the Canadian orders in a lump. I can't imagine how much extra time it would take to fill out the extra declarations forms. I hate those things.

It was late when I posted the update and didn't take the time. It's really quite mundane.

The number of items shipped is based on the number of tracking (or confirmation) numbers generated in a given day. UPS and USPS both commit their date in YYYYMMDD format. Not terribly precise.

To get up to the moment information for items shipped and location, I used the item details table that tracks the scan-out to the second joined to the address table. By our powers combined, I get the three data boxes.

Riveting, right?

Not by a long shot.

I guess the ticker kind of puts lie to the report that they were working "nearly round the clock" or whatever that last update said...

Instead of two shifts one after the other, they doubled the people working on one shift.

We were, in fact, planning a second shift. We ended up going with a larger first shift. Not our intention to mislead. Plans changed as the reality of the process coalesced.

Actually, yes. It seems to confirm what I thought I was seeing Friday morning -- line items was moving while orders remaining was not, seemingly showing you in the process of filling the (out-of-order) big Canadian orders).

He's barely even average. Of course, the skew probably puts him at 70th percentile or so, but there are plenty to be filled after him. My 29 probably won't even be the last day.

<chuckle> I always end up over estimateing how excessive I can be over some things. Every time I think "Wow I just blew way WAY too much money and got way too much stuff" I discover that there are plenty of people who go far more into the crazy deep end than I do.

Thanks for letting me know that I'm still a relativly sane hobbiest.

though admittedly the excuse of "I didn't go overboard, that guy spent way more than I did." doesn't usually work.

Spent the last couple of days making Bases for things. Wood, Plastic, Foamboard, whatever is handy. Get things ready for Pathfinder Scale Size categories.

If I can slow my game down a little I might beable to hold my players off just long enough for Kaladrax to show up, so I can use him for the Skeletal Dragon they have to fight in Book 6 of Skull and Shakles. (they are about mid book 5 right now, at the current pace I figure they might hit the dragon in 4 to 6 weeks)

I wondered if I was the only one who looked at it since they stopped shipping this morning. Glad to see the Reaper crew taking a rest. You are all shipping out LARGE amounts of plastic right now. I'm glad to see the rest.

That and I think the kids' drawing is fun (having three monsters, Yugoloths specifically, of my own, I understand how that works.)
