Ringskipper
Oye, I'm obsessively watching the ticker. I'm at 9 items so I'm praying for an email soon. :)
Revil Fox
I take no credit for the idea, but a piece of me has always been crying out for this, and I just figured it out today. No worries. I'm more than up for the challenge of taking all of the credit for this.
kristof65
I hear you Bonwirn. I've seen orders hit the cities all around me. So close and yet so far away.
TheHucks
Every time I see "Los Angeles, CA" or some derivation thereof my heart palpitates. Then I realize it isn't my package and I pour more gasoline on my soul.
corbineau
I'm a 9, and I got my shipping confirmation. Boo-yah!
Ringskipper
I saw my city (Bradenton, FL)... I'm just hoping since it's a relatively obscure city, and I'm at 9... *crosses fingers* Does the city/state show up on the ticker before the email is sent? kristof65
Ringskipper I would assume yes. Primarily because depending on your service provider and mail client setting, an email can take any where from 5 minutes to 72 hours to appear in your inbox (although most show up in the 15 minute to 2 hour range). Though keep in mind that there is no guarantee that any particular location will actually be displayed. It shows the latest one every 30 seconds or so. It doesn't necessarily show them all. Mclimbin
Does anyone know if watching the banner updates will indicate the size of the shipment that is going out? Over the last 5 minutes I have seen orders that seem to be from 9 to 15 items, but I'm not sure if simply subtracting the number of items and the number of orders is enough correct information to determine this. KevinR
Does the city/state show up on the ticker before the email is sent? Not necessarily, and even if it does there will be some time (minutes or even hours) between when the box is filled (city appears and "items/orders remaining" change) and the shipping label is printed (email sent and "orders shipped" changes) Does anyone know if watching the banner updates will indicate the size of the shipment that is going out? Over the last 5 minutes I have seen orders that seem to be from 9 to 15 items, but I'm not sure if simply subtracting the number of items and the number of orders is enough correct information to determine this. I try to take 10-minute averages: note the items and orders remaining now and in about 10 minutes calculate (change in items remaining) / (change in orders remaining) = average items per order. kristof65
They're below 150k line items now, and will probably get to less than 9k orders left to ship. That puts them past the halfway point (probably already are, but I don't recall exactly how far above 18k orders they were really at)
Talae
I believe the halfway number is 9045 and therefore has been passed.
