ShadowRaven
The crew has made a difference. If we see it or not, matters not, We know you guys and gals are there working, and I know I appreciate it (and if you have AC I may even be a little jealous)
Kay
Thanks for the update Bryan! I was watching the ticker today and noticed it was a bit.... wonky.... and was wondering why. I'm still hoping that our two orders are last though- I'm still trying to make space in the house for the boxes and I need some more time to get that done. <sigh>
Dan Goodchild
An order for Brasil just came up. Looks like they *may* be packaging orders by size regardless of where they're going. Revil Fox
Oh no! I'm in the same boat as Buglips! Just as they were about to start working on my number they switched to come at it from the other end. The horror...the horror...
Alarian
Yea I noticed that as well. I have 12 lines. They are now working from largest to smallest. Bummer They said they went from about 100 an hour to 12 an hour with the change. Edited June 29, 2013 by Alarian
Terra Branford
@Revil Fox Wasn't that just some rumor someone made on KS from a false interpretation of Reaperbryan's words? He's never said that they went and started on the "other end" of the line at all. He said they started a night shift and a weekend shift to deal with the backlog after errors were found in the larger figures sent out. They had to go through boxes to check and fix them. He also said they were up to the 13-14 item range now. If they were to actually go to the "other end", then the largest orders would go first, including a number of retail pledges, and Reaperbryan has said that they wouldn't do that. He doesn't need 7k+ pledgers to scream bloody murder at him I'm sure. The numbers of pledges left doesn't suggest "largest orders" whatsoever. It suggests the system is slow and somewhat buggy. I suggest that if you want to know which way they're working through, ask. Making assumptions can lead to accusations. Accusations can lead to suffering! Be good young Padawans and ask the Master first. :) Edited June 29, 2013 by Terra Branford
Dan Goodchild
Terra: Not a rumor. The point of the extra work on the weekend was to clear as many of the really big orders as possible so that the regular crew wouldn't have to deal with them.I refer you to this comment from the Kickstarter comments page: We seem to be having problems with the ticker. Rest assured we are here - a small crew, only 8 of us - and we are working on orders. In fact, we're working the largest orders, and except for a short stack that got put out of sequence, we're pretty much working largest to smallest for the weekend. Monday morning it'll be back to small to large, though. I can say for sure that these larger orders take a much longer time to verify accuracy - we're doing about 12 orders an hour, versus the week where it was 100 an hour or more.

Girot
I'm content chillin. I think I'm gonna get me a nice juicy hotdog and a tall glass of lemonade.
Jasper_the_2nd
Wow, from the orders the tracker showed they processed today (I was at the track picking up marshaling motorcycles in the rain all day) the average item count was 70.4.... kristof65
I really hope no one gets too upset about the large to small switch over the weekend. Given nothing actually ships Sat or Sun, it makes little difference to the smaller orders, but a lot of difference to the larger backers.
ksera
It also makes no difference to Canadians if they swapped and start from the "end" lol
Jasper_the_2nd
To me it makes sense to do the big orders when you have less manpower and aren't doing the final postage part. Otherwise there would be a large number of small boxes that would need to get labeled on Monday morning, and later the shipping label folks would be waiting while the big boxes were being picked. But man, averaging 70 items per order... makes my 56 (or 57, I forget now..) seem tiny.
Mattnuke
So looking at where I am, I guess I might as well sit back and relax some more. I'm guessing they won't make 37 in the big orders.....and that will put me toward the back of the little orders!
CreganTur
As long as I get my shiping notice by Friday, I really don't mind.
