However, i seem to recall that they said they were taking a policy of only giving updates if they had something to update

Even if that is true, I think that they quite clearly have something to update within the next couple days. By Wednesday of next week:

1) All US orders should be shipped.

2) Reaper will be shifting from a "shipping" operation to a "packing" operation for international orders.

3) Reaper will be shifting from a "shipping" operation to a "packing" operation for Canadian orders.

4) There is no estimate for when international shipping might begin (dependent on USPS).

5) There is no estimate for when Canadian shipping might resume (dependent on UPS).

Either item (1) or items (2) and (3) are major changes in status, and merit a full (push) update on Kickstarter. I'd recommend making the announcement sooner rather than later, before too many people begin to question what happens when the last US orders are finished.

Aww, there's another adorable drawing on the ticker page. Mr Bones is enjoying the sun this time.

I love the umbrella made of bones / black canvas. Nice touch!

The sand castle even has a little skull and crossbones flag!

I don't think Monday is a holiday, but I could be wrong. So they should be back to work after the weekend.

Oh, I just checked and it is Video Games Day. I doubt Reaper will take off for that. Then again, you never know. xP

I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that Reaper employees often apply for time off for things like video game releases.

I imagine, though, that anyone asking for Video Games Day off would be laughed at, then told to get back to packing.

Hmm.. I can't see it. I'm in the US and I absolutely can't believe that my 30+ item package will be shipped today or tomorrow.

They will probably get the rep there on Monday or Tuesday and stop with US orders at that time, around 29 or 30, just before they get to mine.

My package MIGHT get to go out on the 12th or 15th, but I think order fulfillment will get slower and slower due to the higher number of items.

Every order might be shipped out by the 25th, but that's being very optimistic of me. xD

I have been an order picker, packer, and shipper for years now, and I don't actually expect the higher-order items to slow down things that much. I think most of the time spent picking involves moving from location to location. Grabbing three vampire boxes takes a bit longer than grabbing one- same with packing, but the amount of different stuff matters a little more. If the packers have a ready supply of boxes, tape, and bubble, they can pack almost as fast, and as long as the label printers are working and they have enough room to maneuver, then the shippers should be good too.

Or, maybe I'm just being optimistic (on your behalf- mine arrives Monday).

Well they were doing like 1000 a day when it first started. It's only went down since then and it keeps dropping.

Bryan has even stated that the larger orders take them longer. That's why him and a small group of employees worked the weekend shift to get a few of the biggest ones finished and ready to go.

I think it's at about 500 a day now, and it will trickle down to 400 a day, then 300, then maybe 200 a day at the very least.

I agree that it appears that the larger orders take more time to process, which is not much of a surprise. Has anyone recorded the number of items shipped each day? Seems to me like it has been around 10k a day since the beginning of the ticker. If they keep that pace, 8 more business days should finish all the packing.

As I recall, it's the number of available scanners that slows things down for the larger orders. I'm not sure what that means, but I guess it's something about not having enough heads exploding.

At this point, I think Bryan's head is ready to explode
