Have we seen a confirmed Canadian Reaper or UPS email yet?

They may just be stacking them on pallets...

If they really are at the 16 items mark, I received no email (and I'm only at 7).

Pallet loading would explain much...

They have been having email problems in recent days as well -- on Monday the emails from Reaper didn't go out until evening, and the UPS emails won't happen until pick-up. It could be that Kit needs to kick the server again.

They could also be doing mixed, with one group doing big and the others doing small. That will throw off the average.

YAY! There's non-US stuff going out. Guess Buglips didn't screw the Canadians over

I wouldn't go that far...

Looks like the average order size for the first hour or so was 12.something.

A while before we see Salt Springs I think.

Also, crap, I just recounted based on my actual order confirmation. Come on 59 line item orders.....

Actually, I just saw this on the ticker:

RR3 Salt Springs CA

Ok, I just got home, and was about to grab stats when MY location came up.

I can pretty much guarantee that my order is the only one with that location (consider the fact that I'm the third house on the left on my road, and I'm 6 km down it).

(And yes, Dan just ninja'd me  )

So based on that data I'd be pretty confident they are doing both big and small at once today...

Also...... SQUEEEEE

Didn't mean to ninja you, just thought I'd post in case you didn't see it in real-time.

It came up just after my own did and the 10 orders between 3700 & 3690 averaged 63.3 items per order so I'm pretty confident that Niagara Falls I saw was for me.

Also, I agree… SQUEEEEE!

I hate how UPS will pass up your house by about 200 miles...

But, regardless, I guess I will get my package tomorrow.

Still, so annoying that they were only 20 miles or so from my house on their way to the nearest UPS hive.

So basically those of us who aren't "Stores" but added the "Undertaker level" along with our Vampire pledge + extras get screwed... Yay! (not)

It was a retailer pledge. You aren't being 'screwed', you are subject to the limitations inherent in the pledge you made.

And it's worth noting that it was explicitly said during the KS that it was intended for stores only, but there was no way to prevent a non-store from pledging that level.

I'm glad they wouldn't let me get an Undertaker level with my post-KS order form.

Would have been nice to get all those minis that aren't in the vampire deal but oh well.

I can sell the vamp extras I don't need and then buy the ones I missed out on from a cheap retailer.

FedEx Ground once repeatedly misrouted a packaged I shipped to a customer, bouncing it back and forth between Oakland and Salt Lake City something like 4 times. What was really infuriating about it is that it was going to Elko NV, and the trucks carrying the package were driving on Interstate 80, which passes no more than 200 feet away from my customer's delivery address. I told FedEx that if they missed it again, my customer was going to start holding up FedEx Ground trucks passing through Elko...

Trying to avoid potential problems. The process for getting these freight shipments initiated for Canada is byzantine, to put it kindly. If UPS came back to me and told us to do it over again, then I didn't want to have to send out ANOTHER mea culpa. Once UPS assured me the process was running correctly, I felt okay about sending out the emails.

They could also be doing mixed, with one group doing big and the others doing small. That will throw off the average.

Funny story. We thought we started with the larger ones and were working our way down to the littlest ones. Turns out right in the middle of a pretty good flow of 12 average orders, we were smacked with some really really big ones. It was all over the place today.

Just recently I watched a UPS order of mine go from Kentucky to Syracuse, Syracuse to Buffalo, Buffalo back to KY (then say "weather delay"), then KY back to Buffalo, and somehow end up on the local delivery truck (all in the span of 24 hours) without it ever "appearing" in Rochester (where my driver is based) or back in Buffalo. Who knows if it really went on that sightseeing tour...
