I visited Washington DC when I was 13 or 14. I was there for a reason so I only had one day of sight-seeing. I went to the Smithsonian Aerospace Museum and I still remember seeing the original model of the U.S.S. Enterprise from the original series. It was quite the thrill for a young geekling. ::):

Did you burn the white house? Seriously, that's what I think of when I think Canada. Hockey, Back Bacon, and a fetish for burning the US White House.

Ed wanted me to tell the Canadians that the reason they were in limbo was because they had burned down the white house, until I reminded him that that happened 200 years ago, and it really wasn't any of our backers' fault.

However, if it makes you feel any better, you can think that that is our reason, and Texans hold a grudge :D

200 years is a long time to hold a grudge but… seeing as how we (well, they really) actually did it twice, I'll accept that.

No… I saw it, and they didn't have nearly the same fear of unattended backpacks as they do now but I had other things on my mind at the time. Although, in retrospect it might have been a good way to impress the girls…

I always assumed Canadians were so nice all the time because they feel really bad about that White House thing.

no we don't. Some of us would even be willing to do it again, so don't go looking to invade, we may not have the largest army, but we have plenty of matches

We'd like to add our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Reaper for all the effort they've been putting in (even though our stuff hasn't shipped yet)! :)

As an aside, how do we get a fancy Bones Supporter badge to appear on our profile?

hehehehehe... DC is a great vacation spot. Just stick to the National Mall. If you wander outside the safety zone, your likely to get shot. We need Bryan for KS squared. Oh, and the "National Aquarium" was a complete waste of money, so avoid that.

It's not nearly that bad!

Avoid going north to Baltimore. It is that bad.

Both of these comments are ridiculous. They are major cities and there have their unfortunate areas that require caution, but neither are dangerous if you use common sense.

Normally Canadians only riot and burn things down after our hockey teams win, or lose, the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Darsc, I think you've just hit upon the reason we're not allowed to have any more teams.

I'm fairly convinced Quebec City will get a team again soon - once they finish up that new arena anyway.

Though with the recent changes to realignment that'd make for some re-realignment :P

And on the topic of burning the white house, being European I was introduced to that event through this little amusing song:
