Shakandara
Details (pun intended), people! If you don't have pics, specify exactly which models you see issues with; this gives the rest of us a chance to look at our same figs (and possibly multiple copies of them, for folks like me) to see if we have the same issue. ~v
buglips*the*goblin
Miscasts are unusual, but do happen. See the leftmost frontline skeleton archer in this pic: He's missing a considerable area of base there. But he's the only one so far to be miscast like that. The error rate in the retail stream seems low, but the kickstarter ones may have a somewhat higher incidence due to the sheer volume produced in such a short time. It can't help but stress the quality control efforts and exacerbate errors (see complaints of large models with missing legs, wings, etc). buglips*the*goblin
Yup, that's an intentional feature. They seem to be a modification of a very similar metal version I have, which has a different bow and a complete lower jaw, but is otherwise identical. I don't much like the look, I think it makes them kinda goofy, but I assume there was a reason for it. Possibly the existing jaw created an undercut or some similar protuberance that made injection molding difficult so it was modified.

bkjohns96
At first I thought there was a lot of detail loss, but after putting on some paint I was surprised by the detail.
72moonglum
One thing you can try on human faces at least is look at them by profile to check for the nose tip so even if you can't see detail lost in the white Bonesium full face-on view, that should at least give you a bit of solace that detail is actually there. eriochrome
My Ellen Stone Cowgirl model is definite weak in details on the face both from the front and profile. With all the minis in the vampire pack there are going to be some that are not the best casts. I really do not have plans for most of the models anyway so I am not worried. Bones do not have the detail of resin or metal but at 10%-20% the price that is ok.
Fugazi
I'll look again after primering/undercoating. It's hard to tell on the bones material itself, but it seems that some of the figures have more/sharper detail than others. I'm less familiar with Reaper's metal line as other posters, so maybe it's a function of the detail in the master models themselves. For example, the zombies look softer in detail. Shakandara
My Ellen Stone Cowgirl model is definite weak in details on the face both from the front and profile. Ok, this is what I'm talking about; I've got these in both metal and Bones, so I can make a comparison. I just pulled out the metal one and compared it to the three Bones models, and I completely agree with this assessment. What's funny, is that it is mostly just the face where this figure has detail issues; she has several other areas that have very small, very fine detail that is replicated perfectly on the Bones model (the tie straps on her pistol holsters, the ammo on her belt, and the strings on her chaps are all perfectly fine between metal and plastic). If there are more of these out there, this would seem to point to an issue with this particular sculpt, if not in the mold itself, then the QC in China on what appears to be a problem spot. ~v
eriochrome
You can look at the preview mini and see that the face just does not have the nose that the metal one has.
ShadowRaven
yeah, I am noticing that with a couple of mine. Some are a little low on detail, others, like the gryphon's wings are super detailed to the point where I am not sure i can do them justice. buglips*the*goblin
Her revolver looks like it suffered a little, too. Looks like a PPK.
