Teskal
There are many S.A. in Warlord, like deflect, undead, spy and others. Has anyone made a list of them with a short description?
Humansquish
Yes, oddly enough they are all in the rule book.
Teskal
Yes, oddly enough they are all in the rule book. Yeah, but it will need some time until I can order something again. They are on my list. Still need to get my credit card a chance to breath after 2 Kickstarters. I was hoping to convert some of my bones and some other miniatures with the S.A. from Warlords to Songs of Blades and Heroes. aromaticpose
Go to Reaper Games from the link above. At the Reaper Games site, click on Army Creator, select the faction you are interested in, and Submit Query. Add the models you are interested in into a Troop. Since you aren't actually fielding an army, it doesn't matter which. Once you have selected the models, clink Output Army. The resulting page will have a listing of the models and their SAs along with a description below that of each associated SA.

Deadeye_Jake
The Army Creator is superb. Now if it would just print out the actual Faction Doctrine and Warlord Special Abilities I wouldn't need to lug the books along at all!
Teskal
There are certain companies who could really do the same for their customers. REAPER rocks!
wildger
I agree. It is way better than Army Builder who charges you an annual fee but relies on players to update the databases. Only those who play WHFB and 40K would fall for it.

The real AB is an awesome program and I gladly pay my year. It manages several games that I play.
Maredudd
I've been tempted to buy AB to play with. LW's website says it comes with an authoring kit. Am I correct that it will allow me to enter my own troops. Is that correct? I know that HL, their RPG character creator, is supposed to allow one to enter custom data, but I use PCGen for my character creation. On the other hand, Reaper's tool (and Stubbdog's for the Halfling) work great!
psyberwolfe1
It's very useful for GW games. Then you get some side systems you might play. Yes the authoring kit is free and you can make your own files. However unless you enjoy doing a lot of code work in your spare time authoring might not be your cup of tea. Stubbdog
Yep, I had programmed the complete WL 1st edition into AB. And it was great. But, then after we did the WL 2nd edition, I admit I was not in the mood to rebuild everything in AB. Even though the army creation tool that Gus and I built on the reapergames site is not as thorough and does not have army rule checking in it, it was way way easier and faster to build and so it fit for what we needed. I'm a PCGen Data Monkey. as well as several other Monkey positions, so coding files for AB isn't likely to stress me too much . . . Yeah, these tools are easy to use, and from what I've seen in the rules so far it isn't really that hard to police myself as I'm building a troop list. Edit: btw, I noted that the WL set in the AB was 1st Ed, which is the other reason I was thinking about buying AB and then working on updating the set.
