Going to do some painting this weekend. Plan is to try to finish 2 figures.

Regular 28mm or one of the 54mm ones???

I have done some work on the Countess again.

Small steps..

Happy with the advice people gave...

We just had dinner, I fired up the BBQ.

Some nice salads, some Satey, a Steak, some chicken...*** Brps***

Drank an apple cider beer with it, nice and fresh.

Now let it rest and then for some dessert ....

A 28mm dwarf to tabletop and 75mm Lagertha (she needs to be done by the 14th for a contest).

I'm anxious to see that!

There are so many things one can paint on a Viking shield...

Yeah I'll go with a simple and easy design thinking adding battle damage and maybe an arrow or two embedded.

Edit: if you have any Viking shield design ideas please post them in her WIP thread!

Look at Saxon and Norman shield designs, there are a lot reasonably simple yet striking patterns.

Good news: I'm feeling mostly better!

Bad news: I appear to have given my cold to my poor husband. His throat is super sore, and his voice is pretty much gone.

He's currently communicating by writing notes and tossing them at me.

Huzzah!

Be glad he's not writing notes, wrapping them around bricks, and throwing them through the window. Though that is how Legitimate Business (TM Buglips Legitimate Business, Inc.) communicates with the "associates" that don't listen.
