OHHHHH my days at work are always better when the boss brings in his dawg! He runs right for me! AHHHH!!

I wish I could bring in my dogs.

 

But I would let them loose.

He runs free for the most part but the owner has spent A LOT of money on training. That dawg knows what to do and not to do. He has even learned my habits; if my chair is turned in and I'm on the phone he sits by me and doesnt make a sound.

Everything is better...

 

 

My son made his office dog friendly.

They could run free throughout the building, and it made a HUGE impact on employee morale.

Two rules though...

Dogs had to be socialized ! If they didn't play well with others, keep them at home.

They had to be "House Trained"... no Accidents !

Sometimes I would here my son announce over the speakers... Okay, whoever has my dog in their file drawer;

let her go, she needs to play with her brother ! I used to roll on the floor.

She would show up a minute later, flying into his office.

I really approve of folks that have their pets in their office.

I was amazed at how many folks had lap dogs asleep while they did their office thing.

...if there is a dog around.

Nope, not good. Especially since with this phone, the screen and the display are fused together, so even with the minor crack (and it is minor) the whole things fails to respond to touch. 

 

I just ordered a replacement screen and toolkit.  *sigh*

So the other day I got one of those car-dealership scratch-off things - If your numbers match, you've won a prize! - and I figured what the elf, I'll go down there and collect the "$5 cash" that was the smallest prize... I'll throw it in my gas tank, and it'll cover what it took to get down there and use it as an excuse to stop by the used book store on the way back....

 

When I got down there, they handed me a $5 Wallyworld gift card. :grr: That... is not cash, you microcephalic elf-biters. It was also not listed anywhere in the official rules, which I read carefully.

 

But, I decided I couldn't be elfed to lay waste to the building and wipe their entire families going back six generations out of existence, so I hit Wallyworld on the way home and bought two jars of spaghetti sauce ad a roll of paper towels, which came out to exactly five dollars.

Your Walmarts don't have gas stations? Most of them around here do, or at least have one nearby. Walmart owns the Murphy Express chain of gas stations and all of them should accept Walmart gift cards.

So, Fantasy Flight Games and GW are ending their partnership. All of the GW-license games that FFG makes are being discontinued as of February. It's quite the extensive list. I'm trying to figure out which games I should keep an eye on and try to grab before February, when production/distribution comes to a total halt.

 

Anyone have recommendations for which ones are worth grabbing?
