I'm with ya. Was out sick yesterday and looks like nothing happened. Pushed out six drawings to get released. Really wonder about my coworkers sometimes. Or maybe, I just don't get invited to that many meetings.

After a somewhat crazy week last week, this week's been pretty fun. I got to spend the afternoon today deleting a pile of dead code... Something close to a thousand lines, all told. Always makes me happy when I can delete old crud.

I went to bed shortly after I finished the new snowblower's maintenance.  It runs well, roars like a dragon, and destroys all in its path with a mighty throw like a 40-foot rainbow of sunsparkled diamonds.

I dunno, cuz all I can remember is David Bowie's sublime buttocks. 

 

All I can remember is that glorious codpiece that would make Henry VIII jealous...

 

 

I bought all the old Star Wars X-Wing PC games the other day, and a joystick to play them with. It's amazing that considering that I haven't played these games in close to 20 years I still remembered that pressing X links your lasers to fire together. That's about all I remembered of the controls other than the basic joystick movements and buttons to fire, but I still consider it an amazing feat. Now I just wish that the games wouldn't crash randomly, because I wanna get my old school, best space games ever, TIE-fighter flying, Rebel crushing PEW-PEW on!

not his conveniently placed packet of potpourri ? Admittedly, I was too busy crushing on a charming young lady who I was, and probably still am, far too young for.

And my skills at flying in X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter are so much worse than they used to be. I can barely shoot down a standard TIE while flying an A-Wing, let alone shoot down anyone while I'm flying a paper-thin TIE fighter. But man, it's so much fun to be back in the pilot's seat again.
