And if turn into one of those people who never sleep, I'll have to remember that I did ask for an extra 10 hours of consciousness.

Wondering what to do with my newly found super power. Sadly, I think it will eventually drive me insane, and thus, driven to infamy, lead me down a path to super villainy.

Nah, it mostly just leads to boredom...

Given all that extra thinking time, you quickly come to realize that world domination isn't all it's cracked up to be since once you conquer the world you're now the one that gets stuck doing all the boring work it takes to run the damn thing. Even without sleeping, there still aren't enough hours in the day to run the entire world, let alone actually get in any real super-villainy.

I conquered the entire world once. Less than a week later I was so tired of it I put everything back exactly the way it was... (Well, except for those screws from Ub3r's painting chair.)

Welp. I managed to get an unofficial copy of my transcripts, which was good enough for the guy who contacted me. I only had to listen to the lady complain about the event her office had at my hotel for 20 minutes to get it too (she even read me her tripadvisor review too).

I'm thinking the guy might like my resume, otherwise he wouldn't have sent me two emails about my transcripts, right? Anyway, I even have an answer for the dreaded "why do you want this job" question (aside from enjoying not living in a box). Maybe I should prepare some notes for answering questions, just in case I'm sleepy if/when I get an interview...

Had maybe three lucid hours of semi-consciousness. I think I was asleep, since I was having what might be considered a dream. But I could also hear what was on the TV.

Think I might go talk to the doctor this morning.

Just did an hour of walking around the house and putting things back where they belong in the hopes that some exercise would tire me enough to have real sleep.

To let you in on my dream state, I was helping out on How It's Made by polishing the police officer badges, going through the list and marking off which badge numbers had been polished. I'd finish, body would attempt to achieve fully consciousness, but my lucid brain told it no, and to grab another badge.

Then the other fun is that I usually fall asleep imagining something fun. Designing a robot, doing vacation stuff, etc. But right now, when I attempt it, my mind is all cluttered with little wireframe boxes with the words I'm trying to use. Thought about lucidly placing them all in a trash can, but I couldn't grab onto them.

Why is it that when I want to take a nap, I can't but when I don't want to, it's all my body does? Woke up at 5pm yesterday, got home at about 1am, started watching tv, got to about 2am, then promptly passed out. Woke up for a minute at about 3, in that half awake state, then passed out again. Now it's 6am and I'm awake, which is totally screwing me over because I should be getting ready for bed now...

Ah yes the joys of sleep deprivation. I read somewhere that after 52 hours of no sleep you can be legally declaired temporarily insane. Despite the best attempts of my former boss and my loud neighbors, I've never gone past 37 hrs myself. Which is thankful because while it is rather amusing watching the pattern in the wall paper move, it gets more than a little disturbing when you realize that not only is it moving, but theres several plotlines in the story it's telling.

Funnily enough I'm watching Inception whilst reading this ^^^^^

Did you note down the badge numbers? They could be the winning lottery combination.....

I was working on #537 thru #582. Not sure that's helpful.

Normally, I can count on the Science channel to have a middle of the night marathon of How It's Made, which is my usual lullaby. But its a Mythbusters marathon instead. Did one HIM episode with the on demand, which I think I slept through. I'm very sleepy right now, but I need to wait for others to wake up before I go to bed.

My in-laws have an adorably hyper little black kitten, who hasn't figured out this whole "personal space" thing. Apparently, me sitting down was her cue to begin jumping from the chair next to me, to my lap for pets and to swat at my hair, and back again. I was, needless to say, enchanted.

I am also, unfortunately, still allergic to cats.

I REGRET NOTHING! *sneezes violently*:zombie::wub:

Huzzah!

--OneBoot :D

Animals know these things. 'She's allergic to me, I must rub against any part of her body that I can reach' or 'He doesn't like me, I must love him until he changes his mind'.

Good idea, and good luck!!
