If you loaded a thumbnail but did not place it in your post, it will be appended at the bottom of your post. You have to go in to the full editor and delete that specific thumbnail.

Anyway, this looks really spiffy. I love your alien landscape. The colors are fun and she looks fantastic.

I'm off to look at your WiP thread. Did you use a bit of aquarium plant on that base?

Thank you Pingo. Yes that is an aquarium piece in the back. And thank you for telling me why that thumbnail is there.

I absolutely love this. Conjures the crazy colour schemes of science fiction book covers from the 60's and 70's. Hits that overall tone perfectly. Great basing, great highlighting, stellar use of colour.. just awesome and unique work.

I've been watching a lot of Pulp B movies from the 70's lately and although they are cheezy, I like them. They have a unique style that really represents the period in which they were made.

Nice and vibrant. I love her little pal.

When I opened the blister package after receiving her in the post, I was surprised by the demon. I hadn't realized she came with a familiar. That evil grin that splits his face is so gruesome.

Wonderful Anne!! Love it! The colors are awesome and vibrant. All around great job on her and the scenic!

The basing drove me bonkers as I'd never done anything like this before. I tried to balance the colours and not have the base overpower the figure. I hope it worked.

Further efforts to produce a dozen dragons this year brought me out to the desert sands where even dragons new to worry about being spotted if they want a decent meal.  To this end desert dragons are campflaged to look like the ground from above and the sky from below.

Here is my take on the Dance of Death sculpt from the Bones 4 Kickstarter.

I really enjoyed this one,  finishing it up this last winter. I saw someone mention somewhere online that they were bummed that the heads didn't exactly line up, but I found it reminiscent of dogs when they are snarling while looking sidelong at each other.

Apologies for the scratches and discolorations on the background. I've been meaning to pick up some black cloth to improve that.

      Thanks for taking a look!

This looks pretty fun. Apologies for formatting on my phone and stuff got lost. They pay a living wage

I have done about 15 minis over the past year (starting with the Learn to Paint kit), after taking a 30+ year break from painting lead with Testors enamel. Each one I try to learn or improve one technique. This one I focused on pose & basing (took a little surgery to get rid of the pudding base and shape all the claws). The 'rock' is a chunk of bark. Any comments, critiques, questions or suggestions are welcome. Between this forum and YouTube, I am amazed on the knowledge and information available, in an overall great community. Getting ready for Bones V delivery!

Fishfolk Fisherman and Fishfolk Fishwife from Crooked Dice. The fisherman, in oilskins and sou'wester, is a perfect blend of the Gorton's mascot and his product. The bug-eyed fishwife with cleaver was a delight to paint, especially the Atlantic salmon.

Golly gee willikers I love painting fishmen. Special credit also to the Dreadmere Fishing Boat, 44032, the perfect touch for the setting.
