I have no actual use for these coins as coins. Nope. I am instead planning to use these as awesome bases for minis! :D

They just updated with the option of a "Time Traveler's" set, which contains one of each denomination from each set. 65 coins, at the cost of 2 sets instead of 1, but with a greater percentage of the bigger coins (the ones I'm mostly interested in) and fewer tiny coins (which I wouldn't have much use for anyways).

So there have been delays on this.. they are expecting a September/October delivery time frame.. and they announce TODAY that they are changing the finish on the gold and silver coins from shiny to matte becauxe its what they wanted for retail and they want the sets to match..  needless to say they've aggravated myself and a lot of other backers.. this is the planned change with the space coins as an example of the proposed new finish.. needless to say they pretty much ruin the coins for historical reenactment purposes..

I actually prefer the matte look, but yeah, looking at the differences in color, the silver one doesn't look terribly different, but the gold one...that's going to be a pretty drastic change. I just wanted the coins as basing material, so it doesn't matter as much to me, but I can see why this would be upsetting and a problem for a lot of backers.

Hi Folks,

We just learned that the container with the coins is due at Game Salute, our fulfillment partner, on Monday December 22. It was put on the ship in China having cleared customs on November 18.

So...it looks like we will just miss the holidays. But the coins are really close to landing in the U.S. and get ready for fulfillment.

Now, our Asian backers should have already received their coins as they were sent from China. If you are an Asian backer and haven't received your stuff yet please let us know.

Thanks, we're a-l-m-o-s-t there!

I dn't think they are accounting for the port strike with this estimated date..
