I've mixed the regular and the zombie one and it didn't feel like it had much synergy going. Some dead cards, some funky combos. But we only did it once and maybe it was the luck of the draw that we didn't enjoy it. We did play a Chutulu/Western one. That was entertaining.

Since Fantasy has so many expansions, we tend not to mix other genres in. Cthulhu Booty is fun, though, as is Zombie Cthulhu. If we're having a gaming party, we'll play The Big Deck O' Everything (combining all the sets our friends own). That one takes a while, and a lot of alcohol.

In a somewhat related note, I picked up Tentacle Bento from the FLGS the other day, and played a game with my wife. It was fun, but I think would be best with more than two players. The content makes the manufacturer suggest 16 as the minimum age, though, so not so good for the chitlins (no actual nudity, but lots of pantsu and cleavage).

I think I wrote this before, but when we mix the zombie deck into some other version we play as normal until someone draws a zombie. At that point they lose their race and become a zombie and can not switch back (half breed does not appy). It can be pretty devistating if your combat bonus is built around your race, and usually happens around level 8 of course. You'll find yourself refusing to loot the room on the off chance that zombie door on top holds the power to change the next person in rotation after they kick open the door. We like to put it in the apocalypse version with these rules of play. Its like any zombie movie after that, at the end some of the main characters have been bitten and turned. "Sorry dad, but we're gonna have to put you down."

I'm going to suggest this. I like it.

Our group, between us, has most of them. I picked up Quest a little while ago, which can take while to get through.

We've been picking up a fair number of new games though lately (too much watching TableTop...) so haven't been playing too much Munchkin.

I should find that set of Munchkin minis I have and paint them one of these days....
