Bonwirn
I have already prepped the wife for a large kickstarter bill coming in the Fall.... And her response was... So what's new?
captenglish
Their getting all the hype up for the second kickstarter, then it only going to be for the big pirate flag that didn't sell in the first kickstarter. Unsold pirate flag?? Just send it my way what about a bonesium pirate ship?? it'd be a little heavy but would beat having to shave lego dots off of a toy (lots of luv for you folks who suffered through that). Dilvish the Deliverer
I will. If I can find a pot big enough to boil Kaladrax. ETA - By delivery of ks 2 I mean. Not by its start. Two words: Turkey Fryer.

klawzie
They are insane. Certifiably. I will certainly follow KS 2: The Revenge with interest and enthusiasm, but I'm iffy at the moment about backing. Just because when the package arrived, reality set in (to the point of me considering selling my second Vampire). I have so many hobbies that I can do at the computer that anything that requires a dedicated hobby space (AFK) only tends to happen when my BFF is slated to be Unavailable and I don't have anything else to do at the computer. Like, y'know... work. That and finances are tight. Especially that time of the year. Unless I get a surprise hit book, chances are I won't have the fun money to spare to satisfy the collector in me who just wants the neat little toys. So I'll follow along with envy unless envy turns to outright greed and I can't resist. We'll see.

So I'll follow along with envy unless envy turns to outright greed and I can't resist. We'll see. This really is my position as well. I've been kicking myself that I didn't go for a second Vampire box as it was such a great deal, but when my package finally arrived, I was kind of thankful I hadn't. Plus, seeing all the stuff laid out like that brought a trickle of perspiration when considering a few other yet-to-be-delivered Kickstarters that I've invested quite heavily in... I'm trying to find a solution that doesn't cost more than the dragon. Open fire? He's undead after all, I'm sure he'll be OK.

Girot
The only thing I feel I need to make adjustments to on Kally is his wings. The rest of him I can fiddle with using pinning rods. ...seeing all the stuff laid out like that brought a trickle of perspiration when considering a few other yet-to-be-delivered Kickstarters that I've invested quite heavily in... That is pretty much what happened when I got Vampire box at the con and later on my Bug Hunt Corridors order. HOWEVER. I got the bones specifically for roleplaying purposes with the possibility of some Warlord action. I, and my group, could really care less if I ever get them all painted and that helps a lot.
Ithaqua
I tried to talk several people from the LGS to go in on Vampire I and they did not do It. After I took mine in to show them and they were like.. you paid that for that?? So I think Vampire II will be an even bigger hit. Bigger and Better....hmmm bold words! :) I hope its mostly monsters (characters were covered pretty well in the last KS) usable in Warlord or multi-packs of mob creatures for D&D dungeon swarms. Large models like dragons and every large giant and elemental imaginable would be a perfect fit for Bones of course. I see there are CAV ones already. While I don't need them, having a set like the Chronoscope was in the last KS would be fine with me, Ill find uses for them :) More Chronoscope this time would also be nice. Mounted minis I don't care too much about, but a few would be cool, if they don't have super bendy lances and standards. Now terrain is an awesome idea...multi-part temple ruins box sets that are expandable with added sets, castle sections, dragon's dens, ruined titan statues, the list is endless.
Teskal
There can't be enough characters in the next Kickstarter. I want more on a mount. But you are right, more Monsters are a good choice. Chronoscope are nice, too. Every kind of Chronoscope mini's. If there are CAV, I hope they will be as addons, so I can still ignore them. Never really liked Battletech. I hope most will be again Fantasy, but little Steampunk, Western, Modern and scifi would be cool, too. My Favorite would be, as already said, more Warlord and both Warlord Rule Books as PDF in this Kickstarter. ObsidianCrane
The thing about the timing is it will be hard to establish sales trends for the new Bones, because the Kaladrax in the room is are Bones going to sell more PC models or Monster ones? Reaper has ideas, and obviously more data than we do, and I do understand the "Strike While its Hot" necessity (and how sustained growth changes a company's capacity), but more data is good. I suspect this KS could do less PCs and more monsters, as the last was fairly balanced.
