Any official, semi-official, or completely fictional speculation on what the story will be with international orders and international shipping?

in an effort to alleviate the delays of international shipping, Reaper has booked space with Space-X for distribution from the international space station. the advances in global positioning satellites and orbital insertion technology means your house can now be targeted from space. with this new plan, it is expected that all international deliveries should arrive simultaneously. (you may want to consider the optional insurance)

Still cheaper than UPS

Probably more reliable too (http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/48344-great-canadian-mass-shipment-bones-race/?p=769509)

Quite excited for Bones 2 - of the many projects I've backed on Kickstarter, Bones 1 was by far the best managed and executed. It's become a textbook example of how to do Kickstarter well.

The only challenge with Bones 2 is convincing my wife that I really need to back it (given that, you know, 99% of my Bones are still in their plastic packaging).

I'm a bad man.... I've made a promise to my wife I'm pretty certain I'm gonna break. I said I won't spend as much money on this KS as I did last time. (as per suggestion: WARNING - linked image is NSFW - not safe for wallets) - Also, to keep with the Mini Counting Standard™, that is only 20 minis in that image, ignore numbers larger than that.

I'm pretty sure the desire to "have them all" will take over and I'll pledge for a truck load of them again...

This time around I have little reservation about pledging the full amount, getting all the extras that I like and hopefully paint sets and a couple of mini cases (because I am lazy and now have many many miniatures)

Earmarked ~$400 for this... Probably not something I should have done with two holidays planned, a ps4 on order and big foam cutting table coming.

Next goal, save some money and then let go of it to buy a 3D printer r_r.

I know what you mean. I'm already committed to the ZIM 3D Printer KS that's running right now.

I was thinking of dropping out so as to have more money for Bones II but I can't… it's too nice a 3D printer to let it slip by.

fwiw, The KS1 cases were a bust. The glue had problems, and the spaces to put the mini's in were too small. Since they were made by a third party, I'm guessing Reaper would use a different party, or not have cases at all. In any (ahem) case, ask questions about the cases before adding them on. I've noticed many KS projects have defects or compromises caused by a rushed schedule (eg. sculpts), and the cases are an example.

If I may split hairs for a moment… The cases weren't the problem, the foam was. I think it's important to point this out because the case and foam came from two different manufacturers. Also, if you like the case and want to spend the time/effort/money to replace the foam you have that option.

If you are triying to say that sending a spaceship with tonnes of plastic miniatures and make them rain trough the world has less bureaucracy problems that sending trough the canadian border.

You are right
