Lord Dragon
Sadness. Need Kickstarter fix. All current kickstarters have ended. Help me Reaper, you're my only hope!how awesome would it be if reaper picked up a star wars license? that would be a kickstarter I would sell my first born for! That's a Kickstarter I'd sell your first three born for... ;) wait what? thats not right!
Vortex Rikers
Ah, see, I've been totally wrong, I had zero minis before KS v1 and I pledged for a crap ton of them and I have a VERY impressive 20 now. Ignore any of the numbers past 20 in the picture :) I was clearly mistaken. I'll also pledge for about 20 more in KS v2 :D at least, that is what I'll tell my wife... and, of course, I have to conform to the community's standards of counting because I don't want to mess with the system and all... yeah, that'll work! You should put up a warning sign, that picture is not for the faint of heart. My biggest fear is that, due to the overwhelming amount of work that was KS1, they'll scale back KS2 in quantity. All things considered, it does seem like a very tight schedule they're running, with the Reaper folks still wrapping it up, and way overdue with their well deserved vacations.

I wouldn't be surprised if the vampire level equivalent for Boneinator 2: Judgement Day comes out to about $1 per figure rather than 50c.
JackMann
They've said previously that Kickstarter 2: The Impoverishing will probably not offer quite such amazing deals this time around. Still nice, but not as mind-blowing as in the first one.

Lord Dragon
The advertisement for bones to says bigger better bones. So either are getting a boat load of dragons and monsters or the over all quantity is bigger in my mind

The heart of man is easily corrupted. If in any way possible, I expect them to aim for a more impressive deal and double the amount of backers. klarg1
The advertisement for bones to says bigger better bones. So either are getting a boat load of dragons and monsters or the over all quantity is bigger in my mind I'm betting on higher average quality. One school of thought (to which I subscribe) is that they learned a lot about what works and what doesn't work in Bones material. A second (3rd?) generation wave of Bones should avoid some of the pitfalls seen in KS1. As for bigger, that could mean more large models, or it could just mean more models (a possibility that boggles the mind), or it could mean something else entirely.

A bigger pledge needed to get the same number of models?
Godfather Punk
Maybe Large Groups.Squad Pledge $20 - Select one of the unlocked Squad combinations.- Dwarfs : 8 dwarven fighters, 8 dwarven archers, 4 character & leader figures (+ eligible stretch goals)- Elves : locked- Human guards : Locked- Human Rogues : Locked- Lizardmen, Orcs, Skelingtons could already be Unlocked at the start, as they can re-use existing Bones models.Cavalry Pledge $25 - Selecty one of the unlocked Cavalry combinations:Mounted Humans : 4x horse (1) + lancer, 4x horse(2) + fighter, etc...Centaurs : Locked...A Regiment Pledge $100 - Select 5 squads out of the unlocked Squad or Cavalry options (+ eligible stretch goals). So Regiment would start at 5x 20 mini's but as each Squad gets freebies, the Regiment rises in value too. After a while a 6th Squad is added to Regiment. Or war machines.Horde Pledge $100 - anything that's not Squad or Cavalry, so Humanoids (Reven, Lupine, Ogres, Hobgoblins, Bathalians, ...) and Monsters (Manticore, Troll, Scorpion) (+ eligible stretch goals)Each stretch goal could be alternating a freebie with an unlocked new Squad, Cavalry or Monster and a payable Add-on. -> seemingly smaller ($20k) stretch goals between levels, but still $100k between each Type of addition.Add-On Monsters:- Goroloth ($10.000)- Wyvern ($110.000) ... (Man, I really should work on my work ethics a bit. Back to that JCL)
Talae
I think a major focus this time around will be making shipping less complicated. The above mentioned squad idea is one way to do that, but I am sure there are numerous others. I will be curious to find out what way Reaper actually goes with.
Slendertroll
Eesh, I'd be pretty unhappy if they went with squads like that. I'd be happy to pay somewhat more for the Vampire-equivalent, but I'd like the overall structure to be similar. Also, even if the deals starr out way worse, I do wonder if the massive level of expected participation will get us an even better deal in the end through sheer volume. Godfather Punk
Well yes, the Horde would be the Vampire Equivalent, aimed at role players. The Regiment (and all thet entails) would be to cater for the those who like stuff liked the Orcapolypse, Undead or the Kobold&Critters sets of the previous KS. Just kicking some ideas around.
