I would be up for a 2nd kick starter but the international shipping would need to be sorted as customs are holding up parcels etc. I received mine with no issues but I believe others are having a knightmare. I think the wife may be against me doing another kick starter anyway lol

I think we should all stop guessing now so TPTB don't think we like surprises like this in the future.

Bryan is just evil enough to consider that all the stretch goals in the KickStarter should go up this way until funding is met. If this happens , I will have to take the month off work just to keep up with the frantic guessing in the comments section. However, if I do that, I will have less money to pledge for more Bones and will have to resort to selling my body to make up the difference.

So, following this line of reasoning, it is clear that Reaper Bryan is encouraging prostitution to support ones Bone addiction. Therefore, he must be stopped any way possible.

... BTW, I think it is a chimera too.

Given that, knowing that even WITHIN OUR OUWN FORUM we cannot please just the participants of this thread, please be patient and understanding of us when we make decisions that you don't like, but we made for business reasons. For us, the bottom line is "what models do the BONES Ranges NEED to have?", which may not share the same answers as "what models do I want for my display shelf/tabletop game/box in the bottom of my closet?"

If you all agree to accept that, I might be able to coax permisison for a few facts or even a photo...

Yay!!! Thanks for the picture!!!

Oh, if it helps, I want all of the metal miniatures in Bones eventually. So whichever you pick will work great. Just don't stop doing Kickstarters!

One of the things I was most happy about KS#1 was the variety of figs I got. I frequently take a bag of mini's for players and have assorted monster bags that I take when I DM D&D Encounters (Iroinically I'm takng a season off right now and haven't needed to update my bags to Bones yet) but I ended up getting 3 Vamps so I could get enough of certain creature types to use as monsters and I nearly make back the cost of one whole vampire selling individual figures to people for a buck that were extra's that I dident need 3 of. I'm looking forward to the next season of D&D Encounters or starting my own home campaign so that I can start using my Bones.

I'm hoping to see more things like Dungeon Attack and Orcpocolypse as ways to get large groups similar figures. For me I see this as a one of the reasons that makes bones great. To be able to afford large groups of certain figure types. One of the things I most hope they do would be figure types to cover things that while not nitch are pretty common in play such as animals like dogs, wolves, cats and bears. Some players will want these for Familiars, animal companions or even wild shape forms while DMs will want them for wilderness encounters.

In the end I am sure ReaperBryan wont disapoint with what goes into KS#2, heck I'm happy they are doing to do a KS#2

Multi-headed dragon, a la Takhisis, perhaps? Ha, maybe Bugs will be able to finish it in Bonesium...

... <_<

Wait... yes, actually. I would. The other one is Not Bones so I kinda hate it.

Bwahahaha! The born-agains are always the most vehement... ;p

I was really disappointed that Reaper hasn't (thus far, and has stated they don't intend to) provided a retail option for Orcapocalypse, and I'm really happy I jumped on that while I could. 20 orcs for $25 wasn't as awesome a deal as some of the other Kickstarter options ($75 dragon for $10!), but it was damned snazzy. Dungeon Attack and Undead Horde were also brilliant, and I hope to see something similar in KS2:BBB.

I thought that maybe there just wasn't enough people picking it up as an add-on. If a good majority of backers went in for an Orcapocalypse, you probably would have seen a) more of those stretch goals and b) those deals up for sale post-KS.

I have 3 teenage sons to feed and clothe, one of whom is in college and another who will be next year. As one of the owners of the company, I get bonuses for increased sales. given A+B, there is now nothing you can do to make us stop making it easy to give us your money with a smile on your face.

Then allow me to start with ::D:::D:::D:::D:::D:::D:::D:::D:

I think the last comment I saw on this from an official source said packaging was the sticking point; they couldn't really market a Ziploc bag o' Bones, and blistering would raise the price beyond an acceptable level.

Yeah. It was either have packaging that cost more than the miniatures themselves did, or else place it in a plastic baggie that would have made the perceived value of the miniatures too low. People don't mind buying a blister with Bones for a couple of bucks. A plastic baggie tends to make people think it's too cheap, and they tend to treat it like a happy meal toy.

The Kickstarter doesn't have the same issue (you're expecting to get everything in little baggies), so I anticipate more deals like that.

I would be interested in seeing the sales data for the top selling Kickstarter bones versus the original bones. Because I think a lot of the Kickstarter backers are buying the original set, and obviously they have less need to buy the stuff that was in the Vampire box.

I also think that 1 month is too short of a time period to gather statistically significant sales data, but I'm no accountant.
