77006: Great Worm

Here's my version of the Bones Great Worm. I've seen a lot of varied paint jobs on this guy (lava, slime, frost, etc), but I decided to go with traditional colors so that I have one for gaming purposes. This is my ninth painted mini, and incidentially the first one where my wife has expressed some scepticism towards my newfound hobby. "Honey, I think I'm going to stay up tonight and slap some paint on my purple worm" has elicited odd looks from her. I have no idea what's up with that.

My wife only gives me that kind of looks when I'm happily painting gorgeous 28mm women, normally spending a lot of flesh paint...

I'm thinking about picking up one of these worms now and making into a death worm painting it up all black/dark grey since I've seen a bunch of other conversions/colors for them on the forums thus far.

Quite a nice version. Ninth mini? What's up, talent? The mouth is detailed and clean, and the purple has enough tonal variations to be interesting instead of flat. And as has been noted, great base.
