dks
OK, folks, what do you think? Better base? No more floor eating the back of the chasuble! Strong work! Let the floor remain hungry. Derek
Moderator OneBoot Posted August 30, 2013 Moderator Share Posted August 30, 2013 Your work on this piece is simply inspiring!! Lovely freehand, gorgeous blends, and I love the stained glass window effect! It's a lot easier to tell what it is since you added the bit on the edge of his robe. If you hadn't said so, I never would have guessed that the beard wasn't part of the original sculpt! Beautiful work, bravo!! Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
psyberwolfe1
I can't echo the words of praise that have been said loud enough. I've been looking at this and I think why I'm not sold on the stained glass is that you have two light sources in this of equal value. The overhead light is drowning out the light from the window. If all of the light came from the direction of the window or the zenithal light was a different color then it would sell the stained glass light better. Just my thoughts. Honestly this is an amazing piece.
odinsgrandson
The fix at the bottom of his robe definitely works.
