Is it too early to ask about the 12 days of reaper?

Thanks to another topic about Sophie, I was poking around on Miniature giant and found Harapan, the elephant warrior disaster relief mini. Who doesn't seem to be sold online anymore, at all.

 

I really like elephants. Really, really, really like elephants. And I would be ever so very happy and pleased and grateful and joyous if you'd make this fine fellow available for the 12 days of reaper. That's the only way I can see me getting him, even if he was available on mini giant, I'm just not spending $40 on something that small.

Funny, I was just thinking about it yesterday, because my old lady 'nagged' me about painting the Nativity for my mom this Christmas. Since they seem to be adding a piece every year, I have to figure out how to make it modular enough to accomodate that...

Just do the base pieces and suggest that's a good start then you too can add a piece every year for your mom. Keeps the whole thing special and a true collection as opposed to a single gift.

Considering that the disaster relief elephant mini is a limited edition, it's probably unfair to those who bought the mini under the presumption that it was limited edition to start producing them again.

 

If I had bought in on a limited edition mini only to find that Reaper started mass producing them at a later date, I would be pretty upset.

They are never going to mass produce it. 12 Days of Reaper is a special annual promotion, during which they often have limited numbers of limited edition minis (often old stock that they couldn't otherwise get rid of) for a single day, which ship with orders during that day.

I have a great need for this mini. It is a matter of cosmic importance.

 

However, I will settle for the regular version if all that matters is the mere safety of the free world.

The 12 days are also packaged accordingly- the blister specifically says it's from the 12 days promotion. I would think that would be ok? No one could pass it off as the "original" unless they took it out of the package. +1 elephant request!

Well, anyone trying to sell it for a bajillion dollars would have to sell it in the original packaging. So it would say "12 days o' reaper-loves-us"... well, you know

 

I really don't care. If I had been buying minis when this guy was being sold for the disaster relief I would have been happy to buy a few of him then. But I wasn't. So I humbly request the joy of getting one this year, so as to paint him up all awesome.

 

As the tags say, I like elephants. My mommy just got me an elephant teapot.

Babu is cute. I have one on my shelf of shame, and I've finally decided how I'm going to pant him, thanks to a national geographic I even know how I will paint Harapan if I am so blessed as to receive him /hopefull

I'd love to take part in the 12 Days again this year, but increased shipping (and the 70€ minimum order for free shipping) will probably put a serious limit on that. Last year I managed to get 4x 35€ orders, but 4 x 70€ is a bit much (and Reaper will already have all of my moneys).

I'm hoping This years convention mousling is in the 12 days of reaper. Since Reaper went to scant few cons this past year and haven't attended a con I can attend in 2 years, it's only fair.
