At this point, I've backed 66 projects.

I've 6 that are still in development/production that I'm hoping will still deliver.

- JourneyQuest 4 (partial)

- Age of Antiquity

- Coyote & Crow

- Blue Planet: Recontact

- Ginny Di's Library of Witticisms

- The Art Of ... Volumnes 1-3

I've a couple I'm concerned about:

- Carbon 2185 Terminal Overdrive (company cutting back staff)

- HD Bases by Secret Weapon Miniatures (company closing hoping to hand off fulfillment)

I've a couple that are fraud/failure:

- Starfinder Masterclass Miniatures (yes, the red flags were there, but i my desire for those minis overrode my caution.  i'm mad at me over this...)

- Zeroed - performance jacket.  alleged to have completed production and dropped off the map when it came time to deliver.

- Official Settlers of Catan Gaming Board (partial delivery) - still sore about this to the point I really can't use the board i did get.  more anger at circumstances than the team.  i think they did their best.

All told, I only got taken for a ride twice.  That's not so bad for speculative products.

Secret weapon miniatures? Isn't that the company ReaperBryan went to? This is sad to hear on so many levels:(

As I recall he resigned from that position shortly after leaving Reaper.  I do not know the details and would not share them if I did.  Secret Weapon's financial troubles have been outlined on their FB page.  It's been a tough year for many small companies.

I got a book I'd written off. The creator sister was murdered during the publication process and she handed the project off. I think there was enough money and things were far enough advanced that when the hand-off took place it was still viable.

Mr Monster adventures of Doc Stearne reprint of 40s Canadian pulp adventure comic.

Of course i don't need it now and have no interest in reading it. I think it's one of my earliest from 2015. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/96364695/the-original-adventures-of-doc-stearne-mr-monster

I'm down to waiting on just one Kickstarter to send me stuff, and while I'd prefer more updates from Red Grass Games (they're sending out one every month or so right now it seems) it is nice to read the pledge manager will be opening soon (and staying open hopefully for a few weeks, because I'd love to toss in a second wet palette so I have one for acrylics and one for oils)

It is nice, but at the same time it's mainly due to a preference on spending money on the now (or next couple of weeks) than it is on the promise of something 1+ years away.  That and I have a decent amount of stuff in the backlog, and am running out of places to store things.

Will post a summary later, but here's what I have now, starting with my most recent.

Dungeons & Lasers Third Edition: In progress. Rapid Delivery shipments sent. Now waiting for the new stuff.

Fantasy City Sites and Scenes III, for use with Fantasy RPGs: In progress. Backed $1 for the PDFs, so just an impulse purchase!

Mythic Battles : Ragnarök : $1 to access the PM then dropped. When the supporters say the price is fair given inflation, it's overpriced.

Lasting Tales: A Fantasy Miniatures Game : In progress. Their previous FS1 got hit badly by shipment problems.

Zombicide: Undead or Alive: In progress. PM five months late, but shipping prices weren't increased despite worldwide shipping problems.

The Wilderness Books of Modular Maps for Tabletop Roleplay: In progress. Books printed, and on schedule.

CMON Presents: The Animation Collection: $1 to access the PM then dropped. Not that big of a fan for the high-priced prepaints.

YIPPERS AND SQUEALERS: Fulfilled and even got to painting them! Would back again.

The Wizard's Dice Tower - A D&D Brick Set with a Campaign: Main reward fulfilled. Waiting on SG's.

Dire Alliance: Horror: In progress.

The Book of Collected Rumors, for use with Fantasy RPGs: Backed $1 for the PDFs, so just an impulse purchase!

Killer Rabbits 2: Who letteth the hounds out: Fulfilled. Would back again.

Dungeons & Lasers Second Edition: Fulfilled. Would back again.

Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape: $1 to access the PM then dropped. Not that big of a fan of the uncommon sculpts.

The Book of Dungeon Encounters, for use with Fantasy RPGs: Backed $1 for the PDFs, so just an impulse purchase!

Fantasy City Sites and Scenes II, for use with Fantasy RPGs: Backed $1 for the PDFs, so just an impulse purchase!

Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1: Fulfilling. Hit hard by the worldwide shipping problems.

Fantasy City Sites and Scenes, for use with Fantasy RPGs: Backed $1 for the PDFs, so just an impulse purchase!

Towns & Taverns. 2 Modular Books of Battle Mats for Roleplay: Fulfilled. Would back again.

Car Wars Sixth Edition by Steve Jackson Games: In progress.

Dawn of Madness: $1 to access the PM then dropped. Not that big of a fan of the uncommon sculpts.

TAG - Halfling Yeomen of the Yard: Fulfilled. Would back again.

Zombicide: 2nd Edition: : $1 to access the PM then dropped. Not that big of a fan of the uncommon sculpts.

Reaper Miniatures Bones 5: Escape from Pizza Dungeon: $1 to access the PM then dropped. Not that big of a fan of the uncommon sculpts and higher core price.

Up your Game!: Fulfilled. Would NOT back again. Coins were cheap, but don't look that great.

Desert of the Dead, fantasy wargaming miniatures!: Fulfilled. Would back again.

Middara: Unintentional Malum - The Complete Trilogy: $1 to access the PM then dropped. Not that big of a fan of dice-based adventure games.

No I totally get it!! I have just about everything a gamer could possibly want or need at their table. So once these all get caught up, I’ll only be buying digital supplements for dnd that catch my attention, etc.

Ah, the lies we tell ourselves! 😂

I’ve probably got more unpainted minis than I could paint in my lifetime. I’d like to think I’ll stop when I think I have enough, but I know I’ll find a new shiny that I “need”. 😊

I resemble that remark. I sometimes feel like I'm hitting the saturation point for my games. I've got enough things store up to finish off most of my lifelong projects and a 3D printer to help out. I catch myself thinking, "I won't need to buy anything now." But then something else interesting pops up and I think, "Oh, I always wanted one of those!"  Not sure if I'll be backing any big KS in the near future though. Need to finish off some of what I have first.

In the last month I received my latest KS purchases, Bones V and Battletech Clan Invasion wave 2. Lots of purty minis sorted and packed away for future use. Now I just need to get back to painting things.

@Olaf the Stout I acknowledge that I’m in the same boat. I also acknowledge that I am lying to myself.

I will say that I’ve definitely cut back on my spending because of this though. Like you, I’ve switched to digital mainly. In the past year I’ve only bought RPG PDFs. Ptolus 5E was my last physical book.

I was very particular in what I got from the Bones 5 Kickstarter and I’ve skipped several other Kickstarter’s that I would have auto-backed 2 years ago.

Just waiting for that to all go out the window when I finally buy a 3D printer! 😂
