Dude, this is epic! I love how subtle yet detailed and textured he is all at the same time.

The lighting and fog is awesome. I love how fragile his wings look.

The close up of his fleshy guts looks too real. Eww, eww, eww!

It is a beautiful, beautiful model, with everything just very well done.

I have one question about the 'heart beat' you mention in the video. Is that the double strobe in the light in the chest? I'm assuming you want to go for the lub-dub, heard on a heartbeat, but I am not sure the light pattern is screaming 'heartbeat' to me. I kinda picked it up as a vague flicker until you said heartbeat. Did you play around with just dimming or flashing the light at around 60 beats/minute? It looks like it's at about 30 right now. Maybe it's just me... but I don't know if the double sound of a single heartbeat translates as well into a double flash of a visual stimuli.

It's a minor nit-pick, and I almost hate to bring it up, because everything else is so breathtakingly fabulous.

It is more accurate in person, but likely not perfect. I've never tried to make a heartbeat out of light so I wasn't 100% sure how it would pan out. I reviewed seveal .WAV files and translated the highs, lows, and durations into my own arrays and it came out OK for the most part. I assume because he is so much bigger his heartbeat would be a lot slower. Don't hate nit-picking. That is what this forum is for and I find there is always something to learn from everybody. Thank you for the compliments on Mr. Nethyrmaul. He sits by my desk 24 hours a day, glowing in the darkness ominously plotting his revenge against whatever it was that killed him I suppose. :)

I've had to stop painting for a while. We put our house up for sale and painting is messy!!!
