Corporea
To: Buglips D Goblin Dir Sir, It has come to our attention that you have been deliberately inflicting abuse and neglect upon your sable brushes. As these are animal products, they clearly fall under the purview of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. We regret to inform you that you will be required to present yourself for a hearing today prior to 5PM, to explain your actions. We have dispatched staff to your residence to collect the brushes in question. Sincerely, Legolas of Mirkwood Chief Veterinarian, Animal Defence League

turcules
As buglips current DM.... I am very pleased with the progress of my most powerful minion. (Inserts generic evil laughter). As such I cannot abide with pesky animal rights groups derailing my attempts at world domination. Therefore I have dispatched a host of Lawyer Genies to deal with this *problem*. Keep painting goblin.
Moderator OneBoot Posted September 13, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 13, 2013 Lawyer Genie... I suddenly have a hilarious idea for a mini. Too bad my sculpting skillz aren't anywhere near good enough to make it a reality. Go Buglips!! I can't wait to see how he looks all put together!! Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
Hellcow
Good thing I stocked up on elf traps. The Dawn of Drax Draws Near. By 'stocked up' buglips means of course 'his normal stock levels of several hundred'. Really looking forward to seeing this bad boy finished!

falstius
You spent so long on that base and now it just looks tiny under that MONSTROUS dragon. Awesome.
buglips*the*goblin
He's hard to photograph, being so big, so I'll see about adding better pictures if I can figure out how. But thats the best I can do for the moment. 5 1/2 hours to spare. And my painted count goes up... +1
vulture
pow! nice work. really makes me want to put mine together. since i am going to give myself an annual completion stretch goal of +26, im going to have to hold off. that "counts as 1" thing kills.

vulture
true that. maybe i should measure progress by combined base diameter...... very inspiring, though. you should be proud. it really is top notch, for any amount of time committed. and finishing early! HA! you just had to show off with your crazy speed painting skills. Edited September 13, 2013 by vulture
buglips*the*goblin
And he's big, but not difficult. The only really evil part is the vertebrae. Just... so... many... I'd recommend getting them out of the way early. They're an endurance test, and the only part of this project I was really iffy about getting done in time. Once I got through that, I knew he'd make it.
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted September 13, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 13, 2013 Truly an accomplishment worthy of a Goblin King. Well done sir!
DixonGrfx
Well... Congrats! well done sir... and the only broken spirit is that of your poor mistreated brush.
buglips*the*goblin
The Q Series 5R did most of it, and held up extremely well. I mentioned them before as a good drybrush. Tough to kill. They were watermedia white taklons I got from somewhere, but not much good for anything except drybrushing. I bet I could do a whole nother Kaladrax with the same brush. Sturdy! Edit to add: That's the same size 0 in the first picture of the thread, actually. Edited September 13, 2013 by buglips*the*goblin
