Ludo
You have convinced me that I have the skills to do my Drax justice. The only thing that stands in my way now is a wreaked painting table.
buglips*the*goblin
He looks meaner than he really is. He's just a big skeletal kitten, really. Just don't assemble anything until it's all painted and it should go pretty easy.
Magnus Mercury
The only thing that stands in my way now is a wreaked painting table. Heh - I know what you mean! The only thing that stands between me and Kaladrax... is all the other Bones monsters that are taking up my painting table.
klarg1
This thread gave me hope that I will, some day, get around to painting my own kaladrax. I just need to finish up another dozen or more projects first...

Talae
Awesome Bugs, congratulations Don't mind if I do. Wait, that wasn't meant for me? Oh well.
Baufrin
I think buglips could have done this in 2-3 days if he had a 2" brush (5.1cm or a little less than 3 digits Not sure if buglips is metric, imperial or Ancient Egyptian). What do you say buglips... you game to do it again? I am thinking about just trying to "dip" Kaladrax and see how it goes. may have to test this on a bones skeleton.
Arachne
Wow. Color me impressed. And do it with a 0 brush, in a week.

You spoiled my surprise for a Spilgub WIP with Spray Bone Primer and a 1 1/2" brush on my painting table. With glowing energy inside. I just need to find out how to sell the glow vs looking like blood.
Baufrin
maybe paint the innards with a magma effect? I am waiting on the right front leg replacement for mine. Edited September 17, 2013 by Baufrin

If you could add how u terrorize your pcs with drax on this thread at a later date I wouldn't complain!
Thes Hunter
You might still be ok Shogun. I'm a big glue it all together and then paint it, because then I'll have a chance at filling any cracks. But it does sometimes make it hard to get at some bits to get good smooth detail. And I also practice an obscure form of Yoga called "Painting in Tight Corners".

ced1106
Good thing I stocked up on elf traps. Glad this isn't an anime reference. :D Anyway, the close-ups have the bone look greyish, while the entire bodyshot they look whiter. Is that an effect of the light? How do the pieces usually look on the gaming table? Thanks for the forewarnings on the base. That's going to be a lot of work... ):
