Pewter Ponies Kickstarter

16 pounds for 12 minis looks like a good deal... but the 2nd set is only 6 minis for 14 pounds. Does it bother anyone else that the art style is different on the 2nd set?

I'm sure it's got nothing to do with the second set (and most of the later ones) being based on the mane main six characters from a popular cartoon series wheras the first set are generic....

I wanted to like this (OBVIOSULY!) but the figure style is not for me.

my Grand daughter would love them though

Well, let her have a look... but don't let her visit his regular website. Trust me on that.

What Nocturne said. The first set is generic, while the rest are very similar to characters from a certain popular pony-themed cartoon show.

Made my Will save easily with this one, though I did pass the news along to various friends of mine who are way into ponies. :)

Huzzah!

My inner-Brony is rather sad they didn't go for more show accurate designs for the second set.

I do like that adventurer set though, but I think I'll have to pass.

They probably didn't feel obliged because Hasbro don't bother either.

I'm not sorry to bump this at all because it has to be said; these are the worst damn figures I've ever seen.

Good thing a few other companies are making quality My Little Proxies here and there...

I wanted to back this soooo bad. But damn, I wish they had hired someone who could draw to do these.

The proportions are waaaaay off, and they just aren't that cute.

Darnit.

Ouch, I do have feelings you know... .

Anyway, as I’ve come across this thread during my googling I thought I’d add some new pictures to it. On the off-chance someone here might like them! :;):

What's better to start my KS Bones topic than Mr. Bones himself ?

And some treasure/objective tokens with Bones bits and various other stuff (Alkemy, Oathsworn Miniatures, GW, and even Ex-Illis) :

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.

DF had this to say and showed the below teaser pics

We're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.

      Some of the key features:
New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)
      Passages
Elevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)
Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)
      Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)
      Large pieces (4x4 and larger)

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
