Girot
Anybody looking for inspiration, help, or to share what they've learned working on the Bones Hydra feel free to add it here! Thanks!
Girot
I mixed the Desert Yellow and the Leaf Green (1:2ish) for the top armor. This is going to be a Cryohydra so the soft tissue in the mouth is getting lots of blues. The eyes will be glowy blue too.
Girot
Sooo.... I tried Citadel Biel-Tan Green shade. It pretty much turned the entire thing a nice goblin green.
Starlight
Looking at painting my hydra sometime soon also, so following this thread with interest :) I think I will go for an arctic hydra as far as colors go though.
bloodydrake
i need to nail down a color sceme for my reptus army..I want to paint this hydra but I'm still trying to figure out how to repose him so he's standing up on his hind legs which will let him fit on a base better
Girot
I opted out of the base this time. Seemed kinda pointless for a model this size, especially since I'm using it for Pathfinder. For an army though? I would go with a chariot base if you can get your hands on one.

Teskal
I'm not sure how I paint her, but I will make the heads removable. I think green is a good choice.
