Popular Post Hawker
Theres a WIP here if you want to see how this evolved. I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out, especially the base. I hope you like her. As usual all C&C very much appreciated.
Edsterdoom
A very nice paint job. Will you use it for games or just as a diorama?
Hawker
The base is a bit big for games but I might make a second smaller base for that and transfer her when I need her to eat some pesky adventurers.
Girot
what did you use for treasure?
Hawker
The barrels were from my FLGS, not sure who made them. Some weapons from old miniatures I've never got round to painting. One of the chests from the Vampire pack and finally a liberal coating of 0.4mm Circular glitter. Its just the right size for 28mm scale coins and only cost £2 for a pack (I used about a third of a pack on this base).
Corporea
Really great base! I love the way the dragon is climbing- it does add some height to the model, which is great. Nice work!
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted September 21, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 21, 2013 Wow. Quite a nice display piece. I quite like the contrasting colours you've used against the black. Well done!

I recently discovered how well glitter works as coins but you definately have be beat with this. I will be taking notes... :p
CrimsonStar
Outstanding job! The dragon looks great, but the base really steals the show.
Hawker
Unfortunately the photos make the base look very dusty, its not like that in real life, more practice needed with my new light tent I think.
Girot
Nah, the dust is extremely appropriate.
