T'hain Esh Kelch
What an excellent piece of work... Very different from your usual dragons, and beautifully done!
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted September 30, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 30, 2013 Well done. Thanks for sharing your method of making wing pins. I will likely be borrowing that technique some day. I have really enjoyed watching you sculpt this guy. I love him/her. Thanks, Andy
Lovejoy
I had a fun evening at the mouldmakers yesterday! It was an interesting experience, and I now have a nice big lump of metal to play with. Rather than take pics, I've done a video to show you how it all went.... And of course, we've now added the Dragon to our Kickstarter page: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/oathsworn-miniatures-heroes cheers, Michael
Leader of the Rats
Thanks for posting that, I have never watched how that type of mold was done. Love the dragon btw! Can't afford it though :(
Moderator OneBoot Posted October 4, 2013 Moderator Share Posted October 4, 2013 Wow, that was super cool! I've never seen the process of a mini from armature to cast model before, so this was an amazing experience, thank you so much for sharing! Next step is painted model! Huzzah! --OneBoot :D

Solauren
That was such an informative video. It was really cool to see the process of miniature making, from the start of your sculpting to the mold making and then metal casting.
